Such a stylish car. Almost Rolls-Royce level. That chocolate paint is just a wonder. R129 was totally different, and much heavier.

U gotta lift the gear pedal to top to get to 1st gear. Gears are in this order.. 1st, N, 2nd, 3rd,4th.

Perfect... You see more BMWs than Glas GTs! The ratio of those made is about 5:1, for whatever reason the BMWs seem to have outlasted the Glas. Lovely Frua bodywork. Wonder if the bodies went through the same procedure as the Glas versions?

Exactly I have a xj-s from 1990 (collection classic) with the older instrumentcluster, that was used up to 1991.
