I didn't get the part when Adler links the P/E error to a change in IRR ?
@Mani6TheMan925 күн бұрын
I'm assuming they were projecting exit PE ratios, so a 15% lower one would drastically bring down IRR.
@olivier351624 күн бұрын
@@Mani6TheMan9but P/E is just a multiple indicator, whereas IRR is used for capital budgeting… it’s two different concepts imo
@Mani6TheMan924 күн бұрын
@@olivier3516 I think if you use forward PE multiples for your sector or comparables, you can estimate an exit ratio that would imply a certain valuation, and hence affect the IRR. Obviously won’t be the only way you’d model your exit, but could be one of the different methods used.

I just turned 44 and feel like I'm way behind on investing. My 401(k) is the only portfolio I have, but I’ve saved over $220k in cash. With inflation soaring again, I’m worried about how to stretch my savings and meet my goal to retire at 55. How do I make my money work smarter?
@LiamphotosАй бұрын
Retirement planning today is more challenging than ever. It's all about finding the right balance between risk and reward to suit your long-term goals. The Sharpe Ratio, for example, is a helpful measure to evaluate if an investment's return is worth the risk. A good advisor could guide you through diversifying your portfolio for better risk management
@Will54rolАй бұрын
I couldn’t agree more. After losing a significant part of my portfolio in early 2020 during the COVID crash, I realized the importance of managing risk effectively. Since then, I’ve relied on a professional for guidance, and now I’m semi-retired, working just 7.5 hours a week and only 25% short of my $1M goal. Strategic adjustments have made all the difference
@Bigwilli123Ай бұрын
I’ve mostly handled things myself too, but it’s becoming overwhelming. An advisor with a solid grasp of risk-adjusted returns and strategies for optimizing investments would really help me stay on track. Any recommendations?
@Will54rolАй бұрын
I highly recommend Joseph Nick Cahill. He’s a CFA with extensive experience helping clients maximize returns while managing risk effectively. He can explain concepts like the Sharpe Ratio in a way that’s easy to understand and applies them to craft strategies tailored to your goals. He even offers free consultations, so you can see if his approach works for you

Tell me if Companies can be also both equity and debt financed then what are there risk rating and please tell me what should we do if they are on low cash flows as they are generating less profits meaning less dividend payouts to investors. And also if less budget investor is entering the market is young then should he be day trading as the Art produces cash quickly or should compound the equity in companies or single company a lot asked. So, thank you for your Guidance in Advance. Take care.

Are you serious about big banks not cheating? What about JPM metal market manipulation? How many banks got caught money laundering? And personal accountability increased since 2008? Who went to jail? Hardly anyone. The banks get what seems like a major fine but compared to the profits made, those fines are just a small percentage, a slap on the wrist. Ends up just being an understood 'cost of business' with no deterrent because no one goes to jail.
