Thanks for the video. Although I struggle with this condition, your video gave me a positive vibe. I lost hope to get my hair back where I lost it, but maybe I will stop this disease from spreading. I live in Poland. Do you know any doctor/clinic in my area that can help me with this? Singapore is too far for me 😊

But nowhere in this video do you talk about studies or results of studies? Just a vague mention of an increase of 26% hair density in 6m. Was this placebo controlled? How highly powered was the study? How statistically significant was the result. Whilst I think stem cell treatment and exosomes therapies are very exciting and I agree likely these need to be human specific and autologous (although the risk is not everyone will harvest a good number of the correct cells and growth factors like PRP), the big problem here is high cost! And as it is not a permanent cure it will need to be regularly repeated. So the big question is …is it worth it?! What’s your honest opinion please?

@jonwong30523 ай бұрын
I think when you mention FDA in the title, you should be specific regarding which FDA as there are many authorities named FDAs around the world. American FDA should always be referred to as the US FDA to prevent any confusion. Also approvals of any of the FDAs doesn’t mean approval by our Singapore HSA

Hello @jerry, It really depends on where you are located! In Singapore, performing a PRP procedure on any patient is prohibited. There are studies that shows that PRP works for hair loss, as well as Regenera Activa.

Thank you , what do you think about using topical minoxidil, plus oral minoxidil, at a dose of 2.5 mg, instead of using only oral minoxidil at a dose of 5 mg? I'm a little afraid to increase the dose
@Teluguabbai8066 ай бұрын
During my 20s minoxidil worked really well as i can see results within 1 month and stopped using the minoxidil after couple years for super satisfied results(usage of 2 years and head full of hair lasted for like 5 years). Last couple years my hair fall trigerred again rapidly and i have started using the minoxidil from past 4 months and i am not able to see even new single hair popping out of my scalp 😢 and i entered my 30s. By the time i reach 40s i am pretty sure nothing will left on my scalp. I am in dilemma like "am i wasting 2000rs per month for nothing as anyway i get bald by 40s😅"

Thanks, Dr, for the elaboration. Actually, i have done this 2 weeks ago hoping to gain some hair growth. My question is it mandatory to do it again or not? if i dont does that mean will lose again the new grown hairs?
@TerraMedicalSG5 ай бұрын
Hello Tari, that's great to hear! Having a repeated RA procedure done really is dependent on the assessment of your hair growth progress by your practitioner. Usually the case of having not seen hair growth may be accompanied by a revised hair growth plan of say combining another RA procedure, or taking medication to monitor the progress!

I had my implant 2 and a half years ago. The hair that grew, although it was mine, was different from the others. It was frizzy and a little stiff, with no movement. looks like pubic hair. I was told it would become "normal" with time. Have you ever had cases like this?

I was diagnosed with Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia. My dermatologist prescribed Doxycycline hyclate capsules twice a day. She also prescribed Clobetasol ointment to apply to my scalp twice a day. I do see a small amount of hair in the bald spot in the very top of my head. My dermatologist told me she was not able to promise me my hair would grow back but I am hopeful. The hair is not recessing but a bald spot is in the very front. Then behind the bald spot there is hair and in the crown area then is another bald spot. She did a biopsy and the result was Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia.😢

Hi I was subject to an attack from A mentally ill girl and she grabbed on my hair and pulled on it agressively on a couple of strands which kind of collapsed from the root/follicle. Is this kind of force traumatic or not enough? My scalp had a burning sensation a couple of days after the attack in a couple of spots. What do you recommend?

Know its not me you ask..I suffer from diffuse alopecia..just wanted to tell my ex`s boy did once attack a girl he was friend with,and pulled hair out so she had a bald spot but hers did regrow after a year...will try onion juice myself for hairloss seen some studies just trying anything really...will personally recommend scalp-over-skull massages to increase blodflow as much as possible..

@@marialange9509 know that I value a lot the fact that you took time to read my case and answer, I will keep you updated throughout the years with the regrowth on the missing strands. As of now it’s been 5 months since the attack, I do enjoy massaging the scalp at times, I’ve heard wonders about rosemary, nettle water, ayurvedic herbs such as henna, amla and argan oil. Will try most of those
