Did I hear you correctly... WB can at rolling boil for only 30 minutes? Just want to make sure as everywhere else I look it says 2 hours.... 30 would be awesome!

Thank you this looks so easy! About how long did you beat it on medium/high until it became fluffy? I always second guess everything I do while baking and cooking so those little details really help me. Thanks again for the video I can't wait to try this!

I haven’t canned already cooked meats before…. Does the chicken not dry out or disintegrate after pressure canning?
@backtothebasics4560Ай бұрын
No, haven’t had problems with either one of those😊
@King-77-KingАй бұрын
Would it be okay to put the cold Rotisserie chicken in the jars cold with cold chicken broth and pressure can it that way?
@backtothebasics4560Ай бұрын
You really need to warm it up or else you will have a high probability of the jars breaking.

I've been making this for years from wild grapes. For those you have to add 1/2 cup of sugar, but otherwise this is exactly how I do it. You can keep it forever before you open it; I've had some over a year old and it was still delicious.
@backtothebasics4560Ай бұрын
Thank you @susied795, I have never tried wild grapes but that’s an awesome idea!!

Is it ready right away? My mom made this kind of juice (with sugar) but let it sit until Christmas.
@deannamartin68272 ай бұрын
I notice all the videos I've watched say to let it sit a few weeks to a month at least. Apparently it takes time to reach full flavor.
@backtothebasics4560Ай бұрын
Yes, it is ready but we always let ours sit for a few months it’s just better that way! ❤️

6 quarts of peaches IS NOT 6 lbs. I just did this with 6 lbs. and was way short. There is about 2-2.5 lbs. for each quart jar, so for 7 quarts you will need 14 to 17.5 lbs. of peaches. I'm going to have some really thickened sugar water pies with a few peaches floating!

Assume you are using regular Clear-Jel and not instant?
@backtothebasics45602 ай бұрын
Yes you need to use Regular Clear-Jel not instant when canning…the instant is more like a cornstarch and used when not canning! Thank you 😊
