He does not understand that his words are triggering our Mental Defense Mechanisms (MDM). The MDM impedes the process of the comprehension of incoming ideas. MDM can render incoming ideas into "gibberish". Festus (who replaced "Felix" as the Roman governor) "heard" the Apostle Paul speak gibberish. (Acts 26:24). If you do not understand Mr. Weinstein, it is because your MDMs are triggered. Best regards.

This is why The Lord Jesus Christ told Nicodemus- a most learned and respected of scholars in his day and time- that he must be born again ( Romans 10:9 ) Otherwise, he would never genuinely hope to understand what really needs to be understood. Once somebody honest of heart IS born again of God's holy spirit, then that same spirit will begin showing the saved one the logic behind everything God had written in His Word. Then genuine understanding will occur. But not until then. So we invite the genuinely curious of heart to follow after Romans 10:9. Then you'll have the rest of eternity to figure out Universe.

Very nice interview, but Weinstein is wrong on one point: the Schwarzschild singularity in the spherically symmetric solution to the Einstein equations is not the problematic one, because it can be easily removed by a change of coordinates. The true problem lies in the origin, where the singularity is essential and so not removable.

It seems to me that neither Generaly Relativity nor Quantum Mechanics actually describe reality. I.e. they are both very good appoximations. So, it seems to me that trying to find a bridge between these to approimate solutions is doomed to fail.
