Everyone in this comment section is wrong. Your car needs a valve job or maybe just valve stem seals if you are lucky. You are going to have to pull the head and the turbo. Goodluck and look out for oil coming out of your exhaust ports and intake as well. Walnut boasting will not solve this issue

@@HenryBrown-p2g you should read my pinned comment! The car is still rippin today with upgraded turbos, it’s been well over 2 years now with just the upgraded turbos. No oil came out the exhaust and no valve stems seals needed to be done

***There should be a file folder in your phone called “MHD N54” or “MHD F+G” if you have a newer bmw. You want to save the tune file into that folder from your email, if you just save it anywhere I don’t think you’ll be able to find it when trying to open it through the MHD app. I also went into my files and created separate folder called “Vader Solutions” for all my tune files to be together inside the “MHD N54” folder. The “MHD N54” or “MHD F+G” folder should have appeared in your files when you download the app I believe. Hope that helps! Also as stated in the comments, it is recommended to always place your device in airplane mode when flashing.

I just went with the Vader Solutions stage 2 fuel pump! Nothing else was needed, just the tune! I think you can run Ethanol on a stock LPFP too up to a certain amount only to, not too high of a mix.

I found it, I had the same problem. If you unscrew the 2 bolts by the navigation screen. Pull the screen out and you will find a loose cable with connector in an white plug. You can pull the plug out and you have you’re speaker up and running 👍🏼

@@elkedaglv9766 hey I learned that I had an extra speaker laying around when I replace my door panel it came with another set of speakers and was really nice cuz it actually fit in the center console but I had to tap it in to my radio now I have the speaker in my center console I just got to figure out how to cut around it so I can get the sound now I don't have to worry about anything else I don't have a stock BMW radio to do this I bought my vehicle used and I had to tap into the speaker ports now it works perfectly it's the same fitting as it it is in the rear or in the doors

I am running run flats, the bridgestone DriveGuard all seasons haha just the stock 255s in the back. It spins the tires some times but is pretty manageable unless your not pointing the car straight then it’ll flick the tail out

Those relocated inlets sucks because they aren’t getting any air on that side of the engine i dynoed with the arms relocated and the oem upgraded by vr- speed and the oem upgraded worked better because those heat soak after a couple pulls and it’s an actual vent located on the oem side hence the reason bmw but all the intake stuff there

Interesting well I’m running upgraded turbos and the company stated this: upgraded 2" Compressor Cover Inlets (2" Silicone Inlets Required). So not sure I have a choice but honestly they sound sick and for my needs have been fine for the last 2 years+

@@RC335ye you just run a lot colder/better with the stock configuration/location is what he’s saying. He’s not saying your engines gonna be toast or something of that nature, lol. I’m sure it has been fine for two years, it probably will be for the foreseeable future as well. I doubt any problems would come from this he’s simply saying you’d run a lot colder with the stock location. Companies make upgraded inlets for the stock locations as well homie, I would look into those. Either way kudos to you and your beautiful engine bay my friend!

Depends on what you want, a custom tune is usually more expensive than the OTS tunes they offer for everyone and you’ll need to find a tuner. All prices should be on MHD’s website

Wet ground will make it easier to kick out the back end but can’t get outta control quickly. Just gotta try and keep it controlled and not get to throttle happy. Dry ground you gotta really be aggressive to get it to kick out. Stay safe 🫡

In this video no burbles were on. I have used medium at 1 sec in the past. This is just from the custom tune and probably back when I had a leaky injector or two haha. I believe the custom tune gives the car more fuel and it’ll pop more “naturally” too

If you have good compression it's very unlikely that you've got ring issues. I'd venture to guess it's a pcv system issue. I had the same exact issue on my n52, added an oil catch can and it went away instantly.

Yes you can definitely turn them down, the adjustment is pretty customizable on MHD

Not necessarily, maybe it puts slightly more stress on the waste gates but other than that nothing I can think of!

There is no electric motor on the n54 engine! Just a 3.0 liter inline-6 engine with twin turbos
