My dad was a crew member on P3s out of Moffet Field Ca in the early 80s. He had grave concerns regarding the quality of training the new pilots were getting. When he got sick and was grounded my dad decided to retire since he had 25years in the Navy. Three weeks later two P3s collided over the pacific killing all aboard both planes.

What a beautiful airplane .I use to go to Hurlburt Field with my dad during Viet Nam and see the C123s. They flew all the time, day and night, touch and go's, reverse pitch. We lived 5 miles from the base and I could hear it all. What a plane. Happy flying.

I quite like 757, I've had little experience of flying, seeing as the only jet airliner I've ever been on was a Thomas Cook 757-200 flying from Glasgow to Malaga, as well as the return flight, but I liked the plane. Admittedly the majority of flights I've been on were flown by SAAB 340B turboprops, another nice plane.

Hey there! Watch the "Aged" remark! I have 2,000 very special Hours in these Planes. I survived (Thanks to THE BEST Aviators in THE WORLD) an On-board fire, multiple fuel leaks, near collisions and a Wind Shear (before that term) in a driving rain storm! Mr. Lockheed P3 "JP" use to do the unthinkable with these planes! He carried a wooden end of a broom stick that was "just" long enough to PULL all Four Engines...OFF in front of the Flight Engineer! He has Rolled and Looped a P3! glad I wasn't with him. He died at (where else?) NAS JAX officer's club
