In what world is a tip for a hairstylist already included? Unless the salon policy is gratuity included, which only very high end salons do, always tip your stylist.

If I was invited to a large wedding, I would ask if they can live stream the ceremony. After that, I would have my own personal celebration with the foods, the drinks, and the music that I enjoy. Then, I would invite the newlyweds to my pad, so I can give them a present. Also, I would cook them a meal of there choice. This way, I can celebrate with the couple in person. Maybe we can take pictures, as well.

I really appreciate this video. We've been having such a difficult time finding a stand for our welcome sign. This is a fun project and will save us money!

YOU WILL ACTUALLY NEED 3 TEN FOOT COPPER PIPES if you want to make a sign that’s 5 feet tall and 3 feet wide. The directions tell you to cut 28” pieces which makes a 5 foot by 2.4 “ pipe! I had to go back to Home Depot and buy a 3rd pipe because I actually do need 3 feet wide because my sign is 30” wide. All in all sign looks great. Cost me about $120 to make (I didn’t have the pipe cutters which was about $25).

How about using a shotgun mic that plugs into the phone and mounts on top of the tripod?
@weddingplanningschool
@weddingplanningschool Жыл бұрын
For sure! The only thing is that the shot gun mic mounted on top of the phone is that it will probably be farther away from the couple speaking. Making the audio not sound nearly as clear or clean as it would if was right next to their mouths. Cheers!

We did make the sign, but no video on how we did yet! The material we used was a 24" x 36" acrylic sign that we bought from Amazon. The letters were made with our Cricut Maker and the material of the letters were removable vinyl. We hope that helps!

This is awesome! Can you share how thick of a sign works for this type of structure?
@weddingplanningschool
@weddingplanningschool 2 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed the video! So we used a 24" x 36" acrylic sign. Super light. When you say "thick" I assume you mean a little heavier? If that's the case, it is a strong structure, but you may need to have some kind of weights at the base for extra support (windy days, drunk guests, etc) Hope that helps!
@morgancolfax8512
@morgancolfax8512 2 жыл бұрын
@@weddingplanningschool By thickness I mean - how thick is the board itself? When searching I see that there are different thicknesses of acrylic you can buy - the most common I see is 1/4", but was wondering if you could go lighter. I couldn't tell what this sign might be.
@weddingplanningschool
@weddingplanningschool 2 жыл бұрын
@@morgancolfax8512 Totally. So ours in the video is 1/4 thick. I don't see why you couldn't go lighter? You might have given us an idea to test out different board thicknesses and how they hold up in outdoor environments ;)
