2-3pm.😊 Six hours of daylight in Anchorage. Day length depends on which part of Alaska you are in.😊

It's too cold to live in Alaska. I virtually travelled across Anchorage on Google Street View. It's so beautiful sorrounded by snowy mountains and lakes. If I were in America, I'd visit this place. Anyway, thanks for the video.

It is not cold at all this year. Since November 17th we have had 3.6 inches of snow. Last year we had 133 inches of snow. Right now it is 41 degrees and supposed to rain. Today is our 8th day of 40+ degree weather in January and we are supposed to get 2 more. In December and January we have had 27 days over 32+ degree days. Which is just insane.

@@WillMunyreally😮, got a job offer in Anchorage and I can’t seem to make up my mind as to whether I should take it or not because of fear of living in a deserted city as the city have been made to look online. But the beautiful street views from this page is making me have a second thought

I know it's Alaska's biggest city, but it feels more like the smaller cities here in California. The scenery is very beautiful. Especially with those mountains in the background.

The streets are wet but I dont see any evidence of rock salt use on the vehicles,is rock salt used on the roads there ?

I don’t know but I think they use salt brine and sand or gravel for traction.😊

@AkEve11 there is no evidence that I can see usually after a storm if salt brine or rock salt is used at least the darker colored vehicles will be white with dried salt at least that's what I see in my state maybe a local can enlighten us
