If we get another Mortal Kombat in this continuity, I hope we get a young Shujinko as a character in the main roster. I actually think he has a lot of potential as a character in a story mode adventure, maybe even as a main character? Perhaps he could follow a similar arc to his role in Deception, but by another villain instead of Onaga. But unlike in Deception, Liu Kang actually manages to help Shujinko before he aids the villain too much? Plus in terms of gameplay, maybe we can get a more fleshed out version of what his Kameo version is able to do? Maybe even create his own spin on iconic moves like Scorpion's spear or Sub-Zero's ice abilities?
