Wenn ich den Arbeitsplatz mit den rohen, unverputzten Ziegelwänden sehe , bin ich entsetzt. Staubfreiheit oder Staubarmut am Arbeitsplatz ist damit unmöglich. Und Staub - gerade Baustaub - ist der Feind jeder Feinmechanik. Aus meiner Sicht ist so ein Arbeitsplatz ein "no go"

Hey, I understand and share your concern. That's why I disassemble the watch in a different clean room, without exposed brick. There is subsequently no chance that any dust gets into mechanism of the watch, since the movement is simply never present in the room where I do the polishing and grinding.

Mine didn't come with full links. It's just a tiny little tight on the wrist and it makes a mark. The end link near the lug is always vertical since it is holding the watch tight. I'm worried if the strap is going to come off easily and watch is going to fall on the floor! Is it easy to find strap.

I have a vintage (1985) Cartier Santos Carrée #2961 complete set. I am about to send it to Cartier for a complete service. As part of the service, they offer a "quick Shine" or a complete polish for an additional $200. I still debating if I want a complete polish or even the quick shine. Overall, the watch is in good/very good condition. Any pros/cons thoughts on polishing or shining a vintage watch?
