For me Bob Grant was the best talk radio host in my old hometown of NYC during the 1980s and 1990s. He started in September 1970 when the number of talk radio shows could be counted on one hand.

No that's a little before my time I started recording the Bob Grant shows when I was at work in 1986 I remember listening to WABC before Rush Limbaugh started and remember his first show before Bob Grant everybody forgets Bob Grant was the number one talk show host for years then came Rush Limbaugh he came on at 12:00 and Bob came on at 3:00. it used to be three to six for Bob Grant then they extended it an hour to 7:00pm
