On my E92,335d i just removed the egr and intake manifold, then just cleaned it with a dessert spoon using oven cleaner. Redex stuff i just used it mostly for fuel tank and pipe and injectors.

The dispensing mechanism is hazardous, hard to avoid leeks and spillage, always wear groves.

Tried them all over several tanks and different conditions. Only one product actually worked. ATS 505 CRF. Stuck it in as per instructions, drove keeping the revs high (3-4k) for 20 mins, then normally. Without the high revs these products tend not to work. But........after this product my mpg has gone from 26 to 30 mpg in a very well maintained vehicle. The only change was the additive.

Millers Eco Max Diesel worked great in my L200 and VW T5. Turns supermarket fuel into V power for significantly less money. UK product too.

I have a question if you or someone else here can help me i have the same car 2.2 d4d 177hp but lately its been not so fun to drive its not responsive until 2100 rpm it feels like it has no power than all of the sudden it pulls hard at 2100 rpm and i live in an area with hills its been really challenging to drive it you always have to drive in really low gears to get up hills any idea or suggestions

You arent gonna get above the best fuel economy of the engine. If 44 p/g is what it is, the product just keeps it from dropping. What are you expecting?

Wtf you on about didnt work, you went from 10.9 to 12.5 litres per 100km. How is that not economy?

Ideally you should put it in before filling up so it fully mixes and stick to one shot per 50 litres, also look at it as a preventative cleaner to prevent build up on fuel systems, injectors and carbon buildup any additional MPG is a bonus but unlikely.

Wd40 is not a lubricant! It is a water displacement spray it leaves a sticky residue to prevent water ingress..

In relation to my comment yesterday in the other video related to the scv, I also thank you for publishing all these tests in this video. I would like to share the tests that I did on our 2.0 d4d 126hp engine: Surely it is a coincidence, but I carried out quite a few of the tests mentioned here, although we have not changed any components since I highly doubt that something in the injection system is broken , so my actions were to clean the mass air flow sensor, clean injector connectors, fully charge the battery (about 6 hours disconnected from the car) and then dismantle the original scv valve to perform an internal cleaning with brakes-cleaner fluid and isopropyl alcohol. The car is 17 years old and the week before cleaning the SCV the idle was unstable, it was increasingly difficult to start and it ejected a lot of black smoke when accelerating hard. The results as soon as I installed the clean SCV valve were surprising, the car immediately returned to normal. When I saw in your previous SCV video that you installed a compatible one purchased on eBay from China, I suspected that this was not a good solution and now in this video it is clear to me that it was not. My next actions will be to continue monitoring the fuel consumption and operation of the car, I would like to be able to clean the scv valve better since I could not remove the circlip that blocks the inner cylinder, I have to get a tool to be able to do it without breaking anything. I would also like to tell you that Toyota replaced the original valve model with an improved one since the first one had problems over the years, I have been able to confirm this with Toyota. It is also true that in countries like Scotland, calls were made to users to change the SCV due to problems with fuels with an inadequate proportion of sulfur (info obtained on internet...), I think it is important to share it. Thanks a lot for this video and complete explanation. Yesterday I removed the valve from our Auris 2.2 d4d since lately it had serious problems starting, very unstable idling and a lot of black smoke when accelerating hard. What I did was clean the inside of the valve at home and reinstall it, the result so far is impressive, the car has returned to normal operation. I decided to do the cleaning before since Toyota has increased the prices of the valve to an outrageous price, they are asking us €600 for the valve without installation. I also did not want to risk buying a compatible valve without being sure that this was the fault, now I am clear. I would like to ask you how the compatible valve that you installed in your car is lasting and working after a year, has everything been going well? Thanks and best regards

I tried it in my 8yr old Peugeot van before it was 44mpg, with a quarter tank of fuel and a whole bottle in the tank, a gave it a run about within 3days before refuelling, I gained up to 56mpg, amazing stuff which worked perfectly, always used Redex for well over 30yrs👍🏻

I've used the standard cebo on my 2.0 litre skoda superb diesel largely because since covid the dpf light would come on all the time. This has now pretty much taken that problem away. I've just bought some of the maximus as the car is going on a long trip to Scotland soon. I've tried redex, still amongst others and they did nothing. I swear by hydra additives now.

The other thing I thought about was if these additives with added detergents are added to the fuel tank and they do breakdown soot/deposits etc, i can only imagine they would cause trouble downstream i.e turbo / sensors.

That's not Eachine E58. Horrible low quality camera and no SD card slot gives it away. Eachine E58 is out of production unfortunately. There are very good practical reasons to buy Eachine E58. It was pretty much the only drone in it's price range with decent wide angle camera and SD card slot for direct to SD video recording. This makes E58 suitable for practical use such as checking out your roof condition without climbing on the roof. No other drone has those features for this price range. Unfortunately it's pretty much impossible to get one new now.

As you mentioned, it smells. That is an understatement. It stinks. I keep it in a sealed bag and can still smell it. I have used it for about a year and has it made any difference? Not sure to be honest.

I use Redex purely to keep the injectors and fuel lines clean, never expected it to increase, MPG or power output, it works for me.
