Sometimes decluttering is not always getting rid of stuff. It is picking up and putting away stuff and reorganizing it in a better way more efficient way. At least that is how I perceive it. She did a good job!

Hi! I find inspiration from your videos to keep on going with my own decluttering journey! For me, it’s like the onion method, layer by layer-kind of thing. And I get inspired by the different ways people deal with their stuff. I like the way your videos are so clear and straight to the point❤

Just been recommended your channel from KZbin and going to follow along your 30 day declutter for some inpso😁 I'm currently in the midst of decluttering my parent's home as they are both hoarders haha and have let stuff pile up and up over the years so I'm trying to spend my days off work tackling it bit by bit. I like that you have done these videos in parts, its giving me ideas and inspo on what spaces to tackle next so thank you!😄💞

Just goes to show how much we get tempted to buy but don’t actually need. I need to be ruthless, we’ve got way too much bedding and towels. I’m very envious of your dedicated linen closet, what a brilliant space to store not only bedding but luggage and all sorts. Are you in Australia? When did you move there and do you enjoy the lifestyle?
@SimpleEssentials2 ай бұрын
It's tricky, I think we all accumulate stuff, which is why regular declutters are so important! Yep, have lived in Aus for over 10 years and love it ❤️
@penelopa962 ай бұрын
Kudos for keeping only the essentials, your closet IS nicely organized. Not pretty, but organized (by that I mean the towels and sheets are showing the "ugly" folded side). To answer your question, I have 2 extra sets of bed sheets per bed. 2 beds.
@donnav2 ай бұрын
For sheets I have two sets per bed, one flannel and one regular cotton. One set is always on the bed so I only have to store one set for each bed. I live in Canada so we love the flannel sheets in winter. To freshen the sheets I wash, dry and put them back on the bed the same day so I don’t have to fold them either 😊 Love what you said…just because you have the space you don’t have to fill it. Wish my husband felt that way, although I do believe he’s coming around 😊
@SimpleEssentials2 ай бұрын
That's clever, with my guest bed downstairs I always just wash, dry and pop sheets straight back on :) also store 2 blankets on the same guest bed (one is for the sofa bed) so it does not take up extra space in my closets.

I carry a wallet from the men’s section it’s 3.5 in long and 2 in wide. Rn it’s stuffed so it’s 1 inch thick . It’s a flip bifold magnetic card holder. I’ve been looking at women’s wallets for the design and colors but geez they’re huge. They can’t fit in my front pocket and the ones that can would be really stuffed in there and uncomfortable. Sometimes I just want to walk into a place with my wallet, keys and phone. I need to be able to put it in my front Jean pocket.
