Humans are evil. We eat, hunt, kill, and maim animals for egotistical reasons that aren’t even beneficial to our purpose. Weakness, cowardess, laziness, stupidity, jealousy, weak, and fearful are all chief characteristics that make up human nature.

How you making out ? Trying to do the same
@javiercorreapr99772 жыл бұрын
@@BermudaDrift my spot is in relatively shallow water , 60 ft deep. So 5 gallon bucket full of concrete is the anchor and a small piece of galvanized chain protruding from the concrete. Then 50 feet of 1/2 inch polypropylene rope with a float made of 2 gallon plastic bottles filled with insulation foam (in case the bottles leak they will not fill with water and sink). I will add 2 but no more than 3 palm fronds in the top 15 feet of the rope to attract bait. The place has some current so I need to see if the palm fronds create too much drag.

Thank you, didn't know that the Bahamian pygm boa / wood snake was able to voluntarily bleed like that. I believe their blood is non toxic so is the purpose just to appear dead or injured as a devensive meassure? Greetings from Switzerland

Great Story! We actually need Sharks a lot more than they need us. Three quarters of our planet is made up of oceans and we as a species intimately depend on a healthy seascape for our very surviva.. A healthy needs sharks, lots and lots of sharks! If not for elese perhaps we should protect sharks for the more selfish reason of our own survival!!!

One of the best shark conservation tools I've seen in ages... THIS is exactly the kind of thing that my students will really enjoy & it sums up several "take home" messages that I try to teach in class - trophic cascades, shark conservation, ecosystem services, impacts of overfishing. LOVE! Thanks.... and are there more like this??
