You can generally use your own drawings as “Image-To-Image” to generate corresponding sketch images. We have not yet implemented this feature specifically for characters, but we are currently working on offering even more options to define your characters according to your own wishes. There are generally several updates to the tool every month - and we also have this on our roadmap. :)

@@StoryboarderAI Yes, the price might be suitable for full time freelancers Specialized on Storyboarding, doing a Lot of Projects, but for freelancers who only need it for previz as one part of their whole Production Pipeline, and often Storyboards arent needed for movies without a narrative, it might be too much to spend 50 only for Storyboarding. This is like my Situation, I would surely spend 10-15 bucks for it a month, or ideally only get it in Project based pricing when I need it for a Project and know I will get paid by a client for it.

Absolutely. We understand that this can sometimes be a bit confusing, as most users don't mean any harm. The AI sometimes can't clearly recognize the context and then sets the Safety Filter as a precaution. We made a conscious decision to use this, but at the same time we want to provide help in case something pops up accidentally.

@@StoryboarderAI perfectly understandable - on an unrelated issue; I sometimes have duplictates of characters showing up. Im not sure why. I know there is an erase tool but sometimes I will have a description of a character and there could be three versions in one shot. Is it something Im doing wrong? Also - just a suggestion (if possible) it would be nice to have a list of characters and their look-a-likes. Sometimes when the screenplay goes in there might be A Mr. John Smith. Then its John later... so it needs two look-a-like entries and I think maybe thats where problems arise. I'm not sure if that makes sense. I would just love a bar/panel/box I could click that has every character and the description next to them. Just my thoughts/preference. Keep up the great work! 🙂

You can duplicate scenes by clicking on the + icon next to the scene. You can then delete all but one of the shots in the duplicated scene. You can then simply name the shot "N/A" or something similar. The new scene will still affect your scenes/shot list, but you can add "headings" if necessary. However, we will be happy to include your request for such a feature in our roadmap for future updates. Thank you!

Yes, you can simply upload your shot list as a PDF. From this, the AI creates another basic screenplay, from which another shot list is created. This will be slightly different from yours, but you can then make any changes you want and adjust the shot list so that it matches the original.

At the moment, a character cannot be actively removed from the list. But that's not so bad, as long as you don't mention him/her, he/she will not be considered. However, we are currently working on a general update of the character development and overview. Stay tuned! :-)

@@StoryboarderAI Thanks for responding. Sadly as An indie solo filmmaker trying to make my first full-length film for $1000 the 10 page limit is not ideal. Also, the Exchange rate is a killer even on special, for context $299 is R5,552. I do believe the app is amazing but sadly not financially viable for now. If I am ever able to monetize film-making in the future sure I'll take a second look. But for right now I'll rely on stick figures

Hello, Storyboarder.ai has implemented an image-to-image feature that allows you to upload your own images as templates for corresponding shots/images. Perspective, colors, contrasts etc. are taken into account and used as a basis. This can also work very well with location shots.
