Agreed! Vintage stuff should be pricey, since it's rare. But "investors" want to rocket today's sets/figs, which will only drive people away and hurt the hobby.

Agreed. I’m happy to get cheaper minifigures, as I don’t entirely have a lot of money. These make the minifigures accessible for me, and I gotta say that captain rex is pretty cool.

We haven't decided if we will go this yr since we don't have enough time to make something spectacular. Right now it's up in the air but the Allentown show is for sure! U should look into coming?

Reviews are quite good quality BUT I would like to see 15-30 minutes review from these Exploration sets. ALSO it is good to mention 2023... sama team, same logo and so on... NEW brand.

Hey, I really enjoyed the review simply because you have a very calm voice and get straight to the points. It made me want to watch more of your videos and I have to say you really deserve more attention. KZbin is just a difficult hobby, you could say that, but when I look at the upload rate and then the other stats, you simply deserve more. Stay as you are, keep making your videos the same way - just let the technology develop and I'll keep my fingers crossed that you really take off soon!

My favorite is the vampire knight, got 42 of him thus far. I also like the barbarian women, got me 28 of her. Going to be giving the body different faces and hair pieces. I also picked up about 25 goat herders, I'll keep about half of them for myself and use the rest to trade in the future.

Holy smokes! How did you get that many of them?! I know there's an app where you can scan the QR code on the bottom to see which is in what box. Is that what you used, or did you use Bricklink?

@@t-birdbricks5298 Scanned QR-code on the boxes that had a valid one and for the rest I used a small precision scale to figur out which was which. Going to see if I can pick up some more today.

I agree. I'm Lego modular building fan and I find the Daily Bugle and Avenger's Tower a bit to jarring and extreme to fit my city. Those buildings are way too tall and just dominate the eye.

As much as I love the Daily Bugle, I agree. The scale, compared to other builds and modulars, is wonky. You'd have to make more skyscrapers around them to make your city make sense.

Nice analysis. Remember, the Lego Ambassador Network provides very little critical feedback as they are incentivized to sell product so I tend not to listen to those creators.

So true. I think the LAN community is a part of the problem as well. Lego hikes the prices, while offering less in their sets. At the same time, LAN influencers get all the sets for free and make the sets look so good, so the consumer is none the wiser. Continuing a troublesome cycle.

Sure Lego could do something about it but why should they? They are still making money, lots of it. And remember that any discounts in non-Lego retailers is not coming out of Lego's pockets, it's the retailer losing their profit margin. Lego is making their normal profit regardless. Only the shoppers can change Lego. Raise awareness of alternative brands of compatible bricks. Many of them offer better quality of the actual bricks and they are cheaper as well. Lego will change quickly once the first quality alternative gets contracts with the big retailers and the customers will see the prices side by side.

Thanks for your feedback. I agree it's up to the customers to set the tone and decide what they're willing to pay for. I also agree that Lego is making records revenue. But I think the problems I highlighted in my video are cracks in the wall so to speak. Between Lego's pricing problems, combined with other companies offering alternatives, I don't think Lego will see the same profits in the next five years.

@@joevictor53 Personally I haven't been anywhere near as happy with the clone bricks that you mentioned - additionally, the designs themselves just don't feel like 'Lego / special'. I'm not a 'fanboy' as you try to say about people to belittle them I presume - I would buy whatever seems good. But for me; they just aren't as good.
