The amount of guests & traffic will have adverse affects on all the things that made this area so welcoming and homey. The overfishing of our lakes will begin, it will tax all of our natural resources, & before ya know it will be too late to go back. For hundreds of years families & visitors have helped maintain a balance between nature & commerce. This marks the end. Sad

Great food and a great time, if you are a Gordon Ramsay fan! Thank you for watching! :) Hey - Melissa here. I have to add that I liked Wes’s Beef Wellington just a little bit more than my filet. I would say both appetizers were good and did not have a favorite, BUT don’t skip the Sticky Toffee Pudding. That was sooo good! As far as drinks, I enjoyed mine but would order it again just not with the souvenir cup. It was really refreshing and good. We hope you enjoy if you go. Right now I'm also dealing with a kidney stone that I've had since the first time we went to Silver Dollar and Hershey Park. @TravelandFoodieWarriors2 ай бұрын
It was a nice resort, and we would definitely go back if we headed that way. We did hear that it gets pretty busy over the summer and also during the fall time Oct/Nov. There is a good amount of things to do in Branson. Here are some of the ones that are on the top of our list that we would recommend: Silver Dollar City, Top of the Rock and Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, Shepherd of the Hills, Talking Rocks Cavern, Branson Landing, and Fantastic Caverns (a few we went to and a few are on our bucket list but have heard great things about them). Here are some things to do in the main Branson district that were recommended to us (we have not gone to these yet): the Dollywood Stampede Show, the Branson Belle Showboat, the Aquarium, the Hatchery at Shepherd Hills, and the World's Largest Toy Museum. Let us know if you head over there so we can share some tips. Thanks for watching!

A bit over 2 weeks later, still in the 80's in FL! I still haven't looked if any of the hot spring parks have bathing, but you gotta love a good hot soak in cold weather! Yeah, I'm still looking at Branson, even if there's nothing for me up there aside from a bunch of fun outdoors stuff, and with those grills, I was curious how close it was to Lake Taneycomo, and probably right within range to catch, prep, and get the rainbow trout right to those grills.
@TravelandFoodieWarriors2 ай бұрын
It looks like you are fairly close to Lake Taneycomo, depending on what part of the lake maybe no more than 30 mins is the most travel time to the resort. There is a lot of outdoor stuff to do there but they have some other things too, and you are not too far away from Springfield or Little Rock AK, as well as about 2.5 to 3.5 hours from St. Louis or Kansas City. We miss the weather there. It was perfect, not sure how cold it gets in the winter though. Thanks for watching!
