Great tour. I am glad you did the tour because when we did it we just stopped for about an hour on our drive across the us. We were moving from west coast to east coast. We never did the tour. Tight budget back then. You’re right the camera never does it justice. Wow 537 feet down. Love that copper. Wow long way from Vermont. Looks like the subway down there. The generators are massive. Guess you need it to power the region. So cool! Great job guys

You goto silver dollar city for the rides but stay for the foods, smells, and the theme of the park. Hands down last favorite ride is the barn swing.
@TravelandFoodieWarriors4 күн бұрын
Yes! Rides and food... They have some great coasters at SDC. We also really enjoyed the cave tour, but we enjoy exploring caves. It was just interesting seeing a cave at a theme park, and the history behind it was neat. Haha, we live near Busch Gardens and have Serengheti Flyer here; it's 135 feet tall and intense. Thanks for watching!

We 100% agree with you! The owners and team at Silver Dollar City have so much heart for Branson and Missouri. They will, im sure, make it beautiful and conserve the land as best possible. "Sometimes" having companies that have heart and soul for their hometowns buy large pieces of land/property is a good thing if they preserve the beauty of it. Thank you for watching and for sharing your thoughts.

We had a great time and would love to do it again! We really enjoy visiting that area of NC (Bryson City). OMG, Nantahala, do we have a story there...let's just say we saw the back side of water, LOL. Maybe we'll upload the full video of that for a throwback video, haha. Did you guys do the Nantahala river in a two person raft or a bigger raft, what did you think of that experience? Thanks so much for watching! :)

The biscuit donuts are really good. The first time we ever tried them was in Nashville at Biscuit Love and the moment we did , we've been addicted to them. If they are on the menu we are going to be ordering them for sure. Have you ever been to Tupelo Honey in Asheville? We like Asheville and are saddened with all the destruction from the hurricane.

Oh man what a moment. Running through the rain with hot fried things. Fried Oreos are so epic.. I love going to new parks and not knowing about the rides. It’s like so pure and memorable. Oh laugh track is like a dark ride. Those tilt a whirls are havoc. The woodie looked amazing also. Glad you both love coasters Amy doesn’t go on a lot. Especially loops. She tries some of the smaller more tame rides like Disney coasters. We love Salem’s hot dog. Those are western New York. Lemonade yes! Great part two.

Haha, It was purely donut adrenaline and dedication there. It was raining but it felt like it was just about ready to pour. What a memory for sure! Those are the times you never forget, the firsts! It was so foreign to us growing up with the parks here and knowing them by heart. The Whirl ride was so fun, it had been ages since we had been on one. That was the cool part about Hershey is the carnival style rides integrated with the thrill rides. Yes, we do love our coasters! Hmmm, Salems, I dont think weve ever tried those. Well have to check them out when we head to NY. The fresh squeezed lemonade was so good and refreshing, they had them everywhere! Thanks for supporting our channel!

Looks like a nice place to stay around there. I bet it is busy during Summer. So, what is there to do in Branson, Missouri? lol
@TravelandFoodieWarriors25 күн бұрын
It was a nice resort, and we would definitely go back if we headed that way. We did hear that it gets pretty busy over the summer and also during the fall time Oct/Nov. There is a good amount of things to do in Branson. Here are some of the ones that are on the top of our list that we would recommend: Silver Dollar City, Top of the Rock and Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, Shepherd of the Hills, Talking Rocks Cavern, Branson Landing, and Fantastic Caverns (a few we went to and a few are on our bucket list but have heard great things about them). Here are some things to do in the main Branson district that were recommended to us (we have not gone to these yet): the Dollywood Stampede Show, the Branson Belle Showboat, the Aquarium, the Hatchery at Shepherd Hills, and the World's Largest Toy Museum. Let us know if you head over there so we can share some tips. Thanks for watching!

A bit over 2 weeks later, still in the 80's in FL! I still haven't looked if any of the hot spring parks have bathing, but you gotta love a good hot soak in cold weather! Yeah, I'm still looking at Branson, even if there's nothing for me up there aside from a bunch of fun outdoors stuff, and with those grills, I was curious how close it was to Lake Taneycomo, and probably right within range to catch, prep, and get the rainbow trout right to those grills.
@TravelandFoodieWarriors25 күн бұрын
It looks like you are fairly close to Lake Taneycomo, depending on what part of the lake maybe no more than 30 mins is the most travel time to the resort. There is a lot of outdoor stuff to do there but they have some other things too, and you are not too far away from Springfield or Little Rock AK, as well as about 2.5 to 3.5 hours from St. Louis or Kansas City. We miss the weather there. It was perfect, not sure how cold it gets in the winter though. Thanks for watching!
