If Germany delayed and went after Britain, they would have taken major amounts of casualties while accomplishing nothing. It would almost certainly be impossible for them to ever successfully cross the channel and especially not when the US joins. Meanwhile, the USSR would have industrialised further and crushed Germany at the outbreak of war. The USSR did not get lucky, they were superior to Germany in strength by 1943.

@@officialteaincorporated243 well no, The US only joined because of the Japanese attacking pearl harbour and Hitler declaring war on the US which he didn’t have todo (it wasn’t apart of their alliance). So in this instance of my ‘what if’ we’re saying he didn’t declare war on the US

@@weebasaurusrex2286 US was gearing up for war, Pearl Harbour was a reason for the US to get involved with public support. The US was already preparing to intervene due to Germany and Japan already blowing up some US boats. They would have joined the war anyway

@@officialteaincorporated243 The US was gearing up yes… as a deterrent method, hence why they moved the fleet to pearl harbour… to deter the Japanese. But it still wouldn’t change the fact that all hitler had todo was not declare war on the US. Nothing changes in my ‘What if’ scenario changes

@@weebasaurusrex2286 1942, Japan strikes Dutch East Indies. Allies declare war on Japan. US and the allies are now in a war together, US joins the allies. US declares on Germany. Their gearing up was for eventual intervention, not for deterence. Even without the US, if Germany declares war on the USSR in 1943 they are getting annihilated. The 1941 attacks worked because the USSR was extremely unprepared. And Britain would never fall in the first place. You're argument is literally "if everything happened differently, things would happen differently. "
