I heard this song when we went to Six Flags Over Georgia back in July.

I love the really bad forced perspective

Never have seen this very good, I miss this ride very much wonderful to hear the sound effects of that time.

Does anyone know who provided the voices for these characters? In the days of Monster Plantation, Mizzy Scarlett seem to sound like she was voiced by Russi Taylor, so that wouldn’t surprise me if that was the case.

This ride is just so rich and wonderful in every way. I'm so happy the park has kept it all these years. It's gem from a bygone era and must be preserved forever!

Thanks for posting, this brought back SO many memories. I worked for several years in the Six Flags Over Texas Krofft theater before moving to the new World Of Sid & Marty Krofft park in Atlanta. Sid is still a close friends that I’ve known for around 50 years.

This is a nice song. I for one wish people like One Tram Band and Sudrian Afro would make a Thomas cover of this.

Not just a great area loop, but genuinely great music in general… I can’t believe this is from a six flags ride. I actually find myself listening to this a lot just because it’s actually really good. Incredibly catchy theme song that I adore, great jazz and bluegrass, it’s just wonderful. Thank you dick Hamilton and all the imagineers who worked on this unique ride

I always imagined that the boat eater was allergic to humans, thus the name. He's not the human eater, he's the boat eater and this boat's full of humans.

Hi! I wanted to try and contact you elsewhere, but didn't see one. I know you didn't make this song- but you went through the effort of sharing such nice versions that you had- would you be alright at all if you used your track to make a karaoke track using this?

The recordings that got cut would be the takes that ended up getting used. Sad that minus Okefenokee thanks to Tim, the outtakes for the other attractions are the only audio that exists

this sounds exactly like the character voices i heard at the Krofft Puppet Theater shows i saw at Six Flags in Arlington when i was a little boy. I remember all the celebrity look alike marionettes (with voices to match!) It was all very colorful and fast paced. I loved it. It was certainly like Nothing i'd ever seen before!

This ride is basically reverse Haunted Mansion. It starts off lighthearted but gets darker towards the end.

Reed Randolph, some sources say that the Krofft redesign of the ride was done for "reasons unknown", while others say that Angus Wynne was personally unhappy with the small sizes of the figures and wanted it re-done. Have you run across any definitive material that could be cited as an authoritative source for the reasons behind the re-design? Obviously Six Flags was enamored with the Kroffts at this point, but I'm hoping for some sources to satisfy scholarly standards. Many thanks for posting.
