Interesting, but how do you propose dealing with program that have plugins or make use of specific versions of libraries? I'm not even sure how it would be a problem. Say you've got an emulator and it uses plugins for various components, you might need the ability to place them either in the folder with the program or anywhere on the system at all.

Very cool. It reminds me of the "island bombs," the very cheap used cars I used to drive overseas without CD decks and/or USB ports. One could buy an inexpensive FM transmitter that would transmit a radio signal to an unused frequency on your car's radio so you can listen to your own music library. The cable between the transmitter and the mp3 or CD player, I believe also served as the antenna, but I could be mistaken about that. It was a handy workaround for a vehicle that wasn't worth the investment in a new radio when you would just be selling it on to someone new in a matter of months if it wasn't junk yard material by then.

Who is this humanist impostor Martin Armstrong? Martin Armstrong is a world renowned criminal. A thief. An unrepentant convicted felon. Worst of the worst. Decades ago, he hired some programmers to write that program for him that he calls Socrates. Used it to trade the markets with money stolen from investors. Lost USD 700 million. Created a USD 3 billion Ponzi scheme to cover up the losses. Was caught and spent 11 years in jail for the crimes, including for failing to return USD 15 million that he stashed away, on top of the losses. After getting out of jail, Martin Armstrong laundered the stashed away money and paid Marcus Vetter to make that whitewash movie "The Forecaster" for him. A web of lies that blames the government for his crimes. The wet dream of a criminal. Now he sells that Socrates software that he used to lose millions, as a subscription service for USD 1,800 per year to the little guy. For the results, see: Socrates Subscriber Testimonials Any search engine will find that document for you. This is the true story of a criminal kept safe from his victims, earning USD 15 million of stolen money while behind bars, being fed on US taxpayer expense, and allowed to re-build the longest running scam business in history, using some of that stolen money.

Hold on a second so you're worried that people can you use an implanted, passive microchip to hack someone else's phone by making them download a payload AFTER you've held their phone? The person has to hand you their phone? You can do this with any NFC tag. MUCH EASIER. Plus they would have to have an NFC Reader app for it even to read. Plus the phone would have to be held at the right angle. Much easier to do with a paper tag that you can hide on your hand, YA THINK? This is not even a thing. Nice try though. Stop your fear-mongering. You are trying to exploit people's misunderstanding of such a simple technology.

When a historian researches a topic he goes to archives and libraries and studies actual documents, micro fiche, etc. trying to find "truth." What will future historians work with? Digital archives that have been sanitized? How many people, like Hillary Clinton, are trying to cheat the historical record? If the Secretary of State is willing, what about doctors, lawyers, CEOs, military, bureaucracies, police etc. An interesting future lies ahead.

Unless you are accusing the makers of his documentary of deceit, you should have seen the portion which clearly shows all of his major forcasts from the 80's through 2013 if my memory serves me correctly, and each prediction is more uncanny than the previous. I see no reason that mr armstrong or the documentary makers would lie.
@ltkreg8 жыл бұрын
Friend, that's what THEY say. I've heard a lot of people say they can predict the future, but I've never met anyone who could with consistency. By the way, we're due for a market correction, not because of what Armstrong says but just because that's what the law of averages say.
@JoshDub788 жыл бұрын
But that doesn't make him a liar for stating it. Even if it's obvious. He's saying a crash is coming along with many others. That doesn't make him a liar. What planet are you from? People like you who just make up crap about people out of thin air are why this country is crumbling. No integrity. It is proven fact, that he was accurate with his predictions. He predicted them publicly, it happened. How is that a reason not to trust "most of what he says"? Are you sane, or are you crazy in the head? What the heck is wrong with you?

"Benjamin Franklin once said: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." That quote often comes up in the context of new technology and concerns about government surveillance. Benjamin Wittes, a senior fellow at the Brookings Institution and the editor of Lawfare, tells NPR's Robert Siegel that it wasn't originally meant to mean what people think." Link: www.npr.org/2015/03/02/390245038/ben-franklins-famous-liberty-safety-quote-lost-its-context-in-21st-century

+mmortal03 True, and I briefly allude to that in my foreword. However, in a similar way that Twister Sister's "We Aren't Gonna Take It" was never meant to be an anthem for the Tea Party or the Guy Fawkes mask was never intended to be the face of Anonymous, the Benjamin Franklin quote is nonetheless used as inspiration for a future where individual privacy, freedom, and personal liberties are guaranteed. ;)
