Guitar tone of this live album is out of this world.

JP deleting Jugulator and Demolition from their official KZbin and website is a childish and dumb move by threatened, bitter old men. Ripper is a force of nature.

Pienso que es un discazo. Ahora ¿por que no lo hicieron con Halford? Es un disco que se sale de los standeres de Judas, es un disco arriesgado.
@kentworch16 күн бұрын
Gotta say this album kicks some serious ass, but so does pretty much every other Judas Priest album with Halford in it. What I really want to say here is this guy is pretty damn good, just a little different.

Ok so im confused, I thought Rob hand picked Reaper? Im reading that Rob is the reason this isnt on Spodify? Just asking

Welcome to the confused team m8 Quite similar to what happened with "heart of a lion" (Racer X / Tipton drama) to me.. KZbin stays our official-but-non-official albums provider for life (same shit happened with the Martin-era sabbath albums before Tommy-the-goat re-issued those)(there still not available on streaming platforms though)

I suddenly remembered that this album exists and that I couldn't remember how it sounded, so I decided to come back to it and now I understand. I understand why I couldn't remember anything about this...thing. It's well below the standard you should expect from Judas Priest. Halford made metal songs much in the same vein and sound which is why both he and Priest failed. You simply can't win by making slow, non-melodic songs that just keep drudging on and refuse to hook people and reel them in. Jugulator is a slow background extra that desperately wants to be the main character. This is music someone at the party puts on because they're the only one who actually likes it. It's the album equivalent of awkward silence; someone will eventually become desperate enough to break up the monotony and get the mood up, so they put on a different album because no one's actually having any fun. This album is a party killer. There's just nothing interesting about this at all. It's no wonder they released a "best of" album right after this that didn't include any Jugulator material. Ripper is a great singer but not even he could save this pile of crap.

So many years that we were one So many things we've done The memories alive But most of me has died As I struggle with events I'm offered words of strength They do not comprehend The passion we possessed People tell me what to do Tell me how I should get through But they haven't got a clue No one else comes close to you I see your eyes before they closed They looked right inside my soul And they asked me not to grieve I tried but still I bleed I wake up, I break up Try hard to shake off The desolation as it grows As nothing else comes close And as I stand here by the grave And the wind calls out your name I know that time could never heal The emptiness I feel People try to give me hope Tell me how I should let go But they'll never really know 'Cause there's nothing else comes close People tell me what to do Tell me how I should get through But they haven't got a clue No one else comes close to you
