This didn't work. I just reinstalled Windows (not repair install) and this is going on. Now I did mess my computer up with permissions etc., but I did a reinstall, so why would there be ANY problems?

I'm having issues launching The Sims 4 through Steam and that window about association popped up. I don't know if the issue is through EA or not and I tried many things to fix it. I have followed another video with similar steps that didn't do anything and then i tried this, which still didn't work. What do I do? I'm so lost and frustrated now.
