E.g. your not allowed to drink alcohol so the religion forbids anything that can lead to it or anything that can tempt the person so because your not allowed to drink alcohol your not allowed to buy it, sell it, handle it, eat at restaurants that have it Or sell it and your not allowed to promote it. By doing this it makes it harder for you to be tempted by it or end up drinking because your literally cut off from it you don't have access to it. It's the same with this concept. Music and free mixing along with nudity and low-key fornication which is what carnival is in a nutshell and this Is allowed for non Muslims but not allowed for Muslims. Although they are not going them talking about it serves as promotion and it could lead to someone who is weak in their faith being tempted and going because of them thinking of it as not a big deal. Plus there muslim they shouldn't be talking about things like that publicly anyway.

@@kafayamaow7802 the problem with that type of thinking is that it leads to a kind of isolation, and does the opposite of bridging the gap between people. And self isolation of communities leads to lack of understanding about that minority community, ultimately leads to discrimination and fear
