I am working on a 87 year old John Deere B O. When I went to change differential oil I found close to 3 gal. of water before the oil started coming out. It had been setting outside at least 8 years. No wonder last winter one of the rear wheals would not turn when we picked it up ( frozen ?).I have no idea how it got in the differential. I enjoy your videos.

Great story about the 1070. Wonderful to hear the story about the family owned farm. Thanks. I had a 970 for years, and about 2 years ago I found a 1070 sitting behind a barn about 5 miles from my place. A farmer had used it (7000 hours) and parked it when it wouldn't go into high range. It had 4 flat tires and hadn't been touched in 15 years. The farmer had passed away, and I bought it from his daughter for $2000. I put two new front tires on it, got the rear tires aired up, new batteries and cables, fresh fuel and got it running. I drove it home in low range with no brakes and smoking so bad i could barely see and a smile on my face from ear to ear. It now has new brakes, goes into high range (linkage adjustment) and still smokes but I will put a piston/sleeve kit in it as a winter project.

The same inspirational sunshine that accompanies the fortunate individuals in this video …as they enjoy their day …reminds me of other days …of the day when similar hands held in theirs the steering wheel that was their scenic journey under beautiful American skies … skies that if asked would softly tell the story of when not very far away from where the hands of today steer the modern world the hands of yesterday put the steering wheels on the tractors with the yellow paint that they built …in the neighboring town and state of Hopkins, Minnesota … so keep those long hooded yellow tractors rolling down the roadways (and the short rounded ones too )and a little reminder to all M-M enthusiasts : in less than a month there’s going to be a substantial collection of Minneapolis- Moline (tractors, combines, implements )auctioned in Rock Valley , Iowa …it’s not a big one!

I've been told the suitcase weights came in 2 versions, the MM for Minis and just blank for Oliver. Both produced at the same time. I've also been told that when u find them, especially the MM you buy them as they are very hard to find. Does this sound correct to you? And I love your videos

The more i watch your channel, and Moline Dan's channel, the more i am starting to love and appreciate different Brands. I love seeing them all now. the Deere's are hard for me to love, but AC, Oliver, Massey Fergusons and IH i am getting a much stronger appreciation for. MM's will always be my Favorite Brand though. Thank you for Filming these shows. One day i will make the trip from Texas to go to one of these shows.
