Worst rubber band was Earl. Only consistent way to win is keep him behond you till the statue cut-thru right near the end & bump him into said statue. Dirty but hey, it's a blacklist, not F1.

I really don't understand why anyone thinks this type of mechanic is a good idea. FIFA / PES have it too. It removes any incentive to do your best, except in the last minute or so.

I remember getting hit by a rhino and getting pushed by it sideways over 370 mph... I also remember trying to catch one in a junkman viper with stock transmission going 370mph and it was pulling away by a good 80 mph or more. It had to be doing well over 400 mph...

Contrary to anyone else, i would like a a mod that makes the AI actually go at full pace the entire time (without "cheating" of course), i'm doing challenge runs i hate when i use a slow car they become slower too so made it not a challenge, it sucks

A couple days ago, during a race one of the opponents got stuck in an underground parking for an entire lap. The next lap that opponent broke free and entered catch up mode and reached me (albeit one lap behind) so scarily fast that I was shitting my pants thinking that was the guy in second casually rubberbanding past me and away. In the end I managed to surpass him back and win by more than an entire lap over him. Ateast this ain't no UG/UG2.

Rubberband only works per race, If you did good in last races it Won’t affrcet the next one

when games had cheap stuff in it but it was still beatable but now they have games where they have hundreds of different things that they used to get advantage of you so you can spend more money the most blaring office stuff is at video games when you win all the stuff at the beginning and then gets progressively harder because it's an algorithm controlling it see back in the day you could control the AI / algorithm but now the algorithms gotten so Advanced that you can't control it so it's not even fun to try to manipulate it

Ahh yes, the benefits AI gets from the "catch up" perk: Aero and downforce: +300% Performance parts: +300% (+ up to 225% bonus depending on the blacklist member you're up against (example: challenging Sonny = 15%; challenging Razor = 225%)) Rev limit: as long as the engine doesn't explode lol Max speed: kilometers per hour? Nope. Kilometers per SECOND. AI is driving a spaceship now.

I managed to beat this game with the fiat punto with minimal tuning. You just have to drive behind the bosses and pass them shortly before the finish line. They are nice and waitnfor you.
