Never knew skipping the 2nd pad and getting the left turtle into the lap 1 shortcut was viable, makes sense though, I just thought the right turtle was fsster because of the shorter line but you do seem to never get landing boosts off it, while left usually gives you a huge jump

when items are involved it's another game, the best records in time trial are a few seconds or frames apart, all it takes is a missile to fuck up your whole race, so in reality, you don't need to be a god at time trial to beat those who are the best at time trial
