Chocolate may be labelled as vegan as it meets vegan society standards but in reality it never is as it contains insect fragments and rodent hairs which are impossible to keep out of the cocoa. The sugar in it is often refined sugar which is not vegan as it is purified with bonechar. Huge amounts of things are not truly vegan and labels do not give you enough information to see that. Vegetables like aubergines (eggplant) or butternut squash and meny fruits are rarely vegan as they are coated in shellac. Other fruits and vegetables are pollinated with bees kept for making honey which means they are not vegan. Mains tap water and some bottled water is filtered through bonechar in many areas so not vegan. Loads of soda drinks like diet pepsi and most orange based drinks along with many fruit juices are not vegan and in many cases not vegetarian either mostly due to filtering and clarifying processes such as using gelatine etc... If you are a real vegan you need to do a lot more research than just reading a label and even if a label says vegan that does not make it true. The industry standards make a lot of compromises so many things can legally be labelled as vegan even when they are not. Manufacturers will tell you the truth if you ask but most people don't bother asking.

It turned out so cute ! For the dryness I definitely recommend moisturizing regularly because of the bleach and if you decide to colour too plus a fairly good amount of heat protectant especially because of the bleach to prevent heat damage. But I’m definitely adding to my cart 😍
