I’ve been loving it! I’ve worn it about 4 times now and I haven’t noticed it settling into fine lines at all. It does blur but not quite to the extent of like a blurring primer - but combined with one would be very blurring. It’s got a true medium coverage but can be built up… not as much as the about face but definitely evens my skin tone, gently blurs, and wears well throughout the day. I’d say the finish is a “natural” skin finish similar again to the about face but just ever so slightly more radiant. There’s also a ton of shades with multiple undertones and might be the best shade match I’ve found! I don’t think anyone NEEDS to run get it but if they’re in the market for a new foundation and like the ease of a stick it’s a GREAT option!

@HauteMessyMama , it sounds really nice! I like that it has buildable coverage and that it didn't settle into fine lines. I can deal with having to use a primer if it means that it would blur pores better. Colors seem to be decent on Sephora. Glad to hear that you got a great shade match! I have been enjoying the About Face foundation, but if this one can give me some more radiance, I'm going to have to try it. I love stick foundation. Make up Forever has a good one that I've used for a decade or so now. I'm still deciding about the Cover FX cream foundation, and recently, I just saw that they came out with a radiant serum foundation, so I'm like shit, which one do I go with??🤣 I did try the new Make Up Forever Hydra foundation, and I am not a fan. It's not bad coverage, but it's so radiant that my pores are on display, even with a primer. The glow is beautiful but is over the top for me, and I love dewy and glowy. It looks more greasy on me and leaves my face feeling oily. Thank you for your response, I appreciate it. It's nice to get other people's opinions because foundation is expensive so the curiosity is always there to see if others feel that the foundations perform as they are described to do so. I'm going to give this one a try though because it definitely checks off boxes. Thanks again and so happy that it's working for you!😃

If you pair the Mario liner with a warmer gloss or lip color it could work with a warm peach or coral blush - but I would not personally use the milk shade Quest with it because it does pull pretty cool toned. The Vieve Lip Dew in Pesca would be a good option or any other warm peachy gloss shade. Also the new Merit lipstick shade Classic would go well bc it’s more warm and a gorgeous formula (lip swatch short coming soon). Hope that helps!

@@beachfrost3367 I absolutely adore Jamie Genevieve so of course Vieve is one of my all time favorite brands! But more importantly the products are fantastic! I’m currently working on a video about over 40 must have hero products and the pressed powder is definitely on the list. my other every day absolute must have is the skin nova primer because I have dry skin and it’s super hydrating but it’s not heavy or greasy at all. Her cream bronzer and blushes and concealer are also on heavy rotation, rounded out by the eye wands or shadow sticks. Oh and the mascara and lip products are great too lol!

@HauteMessyMama , I didn't even know who Jamie was until I watched your video. I love to hear about new makeup artists. Some of them become so redundant after a while or get so haughty. I still love some Charlotte Tilbury products, but some now are just meh..... When they come out with a new product, so often that supposed to be miraculous, I lose interest. I have a table top of "miracle" foundations that I swear, I only wear about 3 of them. Can they still work, yes, but they aren't my faves. The Veive sounds like a really solid brand with good products. I'm looking forward to checking it out more, and any videos for over 40 will be on my list to watch!! Sounds great!!

So I filmed a video for the Haus labs but never got around to editing it when it first came out. I like it and use it occasionally, but my conclusion is that it’s just average. It looks nice on my skin and with pore-filling primer you might have a good run with it, but it’s not life changing like some of the reviews claim. You might like the Fenty Eaze-Drop liquid… do you get oily with the larger pores? If so, maybe the liquid version but I also like the newer stick version which was my everyday until the about-face. I’m really interested in trying the new ilia stick foundation that just launched and the new morphe one (despite my questionable feelings about that brand/company). I also picked up the CoverFX total cover cream foundation and have been really enjoying it, but the about-face is STILL the one I continue to reach for on a daily basis.

@HauteMessyMama , I've been so curious about the Haus labs foundation but everytime I go to order it, the color that I want is out of stock, so maybe that is a sign to not waste my money on it just yet. Haus labs has a sampler you can get from their website, but they are currently out of stock. That might be the best way to try it without the commitment of paying for the full bottle. I've seen so many mixed reviews on it. I do have oily skin and big pores and I have tried about a million pore filling primers. They work for a short time and then my pores are front and center again and the foundation just settles into them. I love a glowy look and of course anything reflective with a glow will always accentuate texture and pores. Problem is that with my aging skin, I can't pull off a straight matte. I look terrible. The only matte foundation that looks somewhat decent is the Dior Forever matte. Curious about the Ilia as well and the Fenty Eaze drops. I swear it's so ignorant how our skin changes like crazy as we age. I used to live and breathe Bare Minerals foundation and now it looks like total crap on my skin. I'm testing out a retinol and vitamin c serum from Vichy. So far, so good. Makes the fine lines really smooth and hasn't caused any major dryness. I'm always flipping back and forth between high and and higher end drug store. I just tested the new Make up Forever Hydra foundation. It's pretty but feels heavy and never quite sets down for me. I was able to get the sample size in that so I didn't have to pay full price. Also tested the About Face Perfector and I'm liking it. It's got a radiance to it but not over the top, just enough and it does nicely with blurring texture and pores. I'm impressed for it being only 22 dollars.👍 I got the light neutral shade which is still a tad to light so I may grab the next darker shade to mix them but overall, I'm happy with it. Thanks again for your advice. I will check out those foundations. Anything to cover up the stuff I want to cover up, makes me happy.😊 I do want to get the Cover FX cream foundation as well. Is it heavy? I got the Patrick Ta cream foundation and no matter what I do it just sits on top of my skin and feels so greasy and waxy. Is the Cover FX better?

@@beachfrost3367 The CoverFx is much less heavy and less greasy than the Patrick Ta. I use a super dense brush from Saie beauty and use very light layers but it builds for coverage beautifully without adding bulk or looking cakey. It just looks like my skin without any discoloration but it’s definitely recommended to set it. I normally use the Ami Colé or Vieve or huda or givenchy for powder but the new one from em cosmetics is also lovely (and the packaging is stunning)! I think you’d do much better with the cover fx than PTa for sure! It can be built up for more coverage than the about Face but of course more $ for a finish that is similar.

I've been using Pamplemousse and Cherry Good the most by themselves, but I also mix Kiwi Fuzz with lots of them. They are so comfy and pretty and have more pigment than any similar products I've tried, and at $15, I could justify buying almost every color lol!
