Hi matey 😊👍 im in Australia & about to learn to ride & get my licence , my concern is im not very tall at 5'7 but i weigh 90kg , Do you think my 90kg is to much for Honda CB125F ??? Ive got a good opportunity to buy one with very low km on the clock , its a 2024 Honda CB125F 🏍 Im wanting this bike for around town only & to learn on for the first 3-4 months of riding , at speed limits of 50kmh and 60kmh casual riding , no highway riding on this 125cc, What's your honest opinion ? Is 90kg to heavy for the bike & around town only ?

Hi from Bundaberg Australia 🇦🇺😊 In Australia we use the Honda CB125E & CB125F At our Learner Training Courses 🏍👍 I can buy a friends 125F cheap & my question to You is : Im 100kg do you think that is to heavy to learn on to ride a 125cc , i dont plan on riding it anywhere except a car park to learn to ride & do some drills around Orange cones to see if riding a motorcycle is for me 🏍 🤔 before i commit to paying $600 for learner course ! My plan is to just learn on this 125cc in car park & if i like the feel of riding il go do learner course & get my licence, and il then give the Honda to my 18 year old son to get his licence & use the bike as his own , he is only 70kg , Can you let me know is 100kg to heavy to learn on this 125cc (not on roads ) cheers from Aus 🇦🇺😊🕺🍹

I found the Mod 1 harder than Mod 2. The pressure is greater due to you being in an enclosed space and your manoeuvres need to be almost perfect.
@LeonsVlogsxАй бұрын
I felt a lot more confident in my manoeuvres than the MOD 2 section as I found it easier to make mistakes on the road riding part. Personal preference though! Everyone will be different and have different experiences!

Can't imagine most people prefer the R model over the F. Far fewer people have ridden them, as they cost more than £4,500 new and most secondhand ones are around £3K, which is more than the cost of a new F right now. They also have a smaller tank and are much less economical, as they are liquid cooled and produce a higher power output. The same money will get you a good secondhand 500cc once you've passed.

the main thing i don't like about my cb125f is the revvy throttle, it's near impossible to hold a certain rev and that makes slow speed manouvres very hard, it's much easier on a bigger bike to do slow speed

"Not designed to be quick". That is not true, they are not designed any more to be quick. I had a TZR 125 back in the day and it had 33bhp. It's the EU and it's regulations that make them slow.

When i was younger, and my first child was coming, that's when i stopped riding. i remember it to this day, i was riding along, hit a tight corner at 50mph, had to really bank it over, (not for the first time) i loved it.. then it hit me like a ton of bricks that im responsible for another life now, felt that fear for the first time, my mind went "i can't be doing this anymore, and packed it in and got my car licence.😭😁

I could be wrong but it looks like you used too much throttle and still had the clutch engaged, then when you released the clutch it caused the motorbikes front end to shoot forward and lift up. Maybe someone who knows how to pull a wheelie can correct me if i'm wrong? But I think that's what happened here. I think it was your mistake and not a fault with the motorbike itself.

I could probs name loads that I don't like about that bike personally, cos I have the 2024 model as my first bike as a 17 year old, have just under 8k miles on, the clutch biting point is very awkward compared to my mates, the tires are tiny can't lean into corners very well coz of the lack of tire, the front brake is quite harsh as a learner panic braking on that bike is awful, the exhaust is rather quiet most cars can't heat it well and so on, I've not modded my bike whatsoever and managed 74mph on a flat 80mph down a hill it's just rather slow at times, do have like 330 miles on a full tank, it's quite decent just so want a bigger/faster bike
@anthonybrown48742 ай бұрын
Like the CB125F though as a commuter I feel it needs a screen hand, guards possibly heated gloves or grips not sure I would mount a phone on though. Unfortunately dealing with HGVs might has right as they are very mission focussed and you are just an annoyance and it will hurt messing with one so just chill and prepare to stop. I have a address scooter and a 400cc bike as well but the scoot has a certain charm and is great round the city but am tempted by the CBs fuel economy and range where the scoot will do 110mpg at up to 60mph how's the CB in that circumstance? Cheers enjoy your biking I would keep the CB if you have the space.

I'm an older rider who has only just attained a learner license and can't believe how cheap the Honda CB125F is here in NZ. I started with a Suzuki UZ50 scooter before I got my learner license, then bought a Suzuki UK110 scooter. The CB125F is slightly cheaper than the UK110, though power to weight on the UK110 is very good. They are both about NZD3500. Incredible value for money, considering the Honda CT125 ('postie bike') is about NZD7000. Edit: I think the points in favour of this bike vastly outweigh the relatively minor niggles. I am now looking at purchasing one.

Your front L plates are illegal btw. 3 points and a fine if a grumpy copper takes you to task. They need to be full size plates, not cut down and stick to the front fender like that. Same for the back. I know they come like that from dealers (because they look better when selling), but it's you that will get the blame not them if prosecuted.

I have the same bike and same colour even. Made 2 trips over a mountain pass so that would be 4 X 95 KM and I still have 3 bars of fuel .. ridiculous fuel consumption. If this bike would have 4kW more power it would be a perfection since it handles like a bicycle
