@CasaVacanzeGalileoCataniaSicil Thank you for watching! We have tried, and not everyone understood our vlog. The idea was that Google could give you false impressions about places. We just wanted to show that it's ok to explore, as long as you are respectful and mind your business. It might still be crime, but it's the same everywhere. And we don't like it when people are saying, "ohh you are going to Sicily...mafia..Sicily is amazing, we love it, and we have explored it as much as we could. We loved places like Troina and Nicosia, Stesicoro❤️.

@AnMarEd_Wandering6 күн бұрын
@iaklearns Thank you for watching! 🙂 The immigration takes some time when you don't think those papers are necessary for you as well to fill up! 😂 We thought initially that there was something related to visa, and as we didn't need a visa for Japan, we ignored them. But, EVERYONE needs to fill them up, and the proccess will not take that long, but they will need anyway your fingerprint and a photo of you. We've seen some people that they had the paperwork filled up on their phones, but we don't know how they found that!? Have a great journey whenever it happens. 🙌

@trishalavaghela9283 These trains are the fastest trains at the moment in Japan, but they are working on creating ones that run even faster! Hi guys! Have you ever tried this experience in Japan? 😊 If you haven't, please try it on your next trip, we are sure you will love it, as much as we did! Travelling by bus in Japan is quite fun and simple. We chose a relatively affordable inn, comparing to the luxurious ones, and it has been a great choice. As you will notice, we had some language barriers with our host, but it's part of the experience! She was so sweet and welcoming, the same as the gentlemen that prepared our dinner. The atmosphere was serene, and the village was so quiet 🤫. Let us know what you think! 😊

@AnMarEd_Wandering28 күн бұрын
@norencityx4007 Hi! You can pre-book your tickets, and you will have an opption for your luggage storage. But if your luggage is not super bulky, you might be able to store it in front of your knees. For more space, you might have to take your seats in the Green Car area ( 1st class ), there's more space for your legs. Hope this helps. 😊

Also heads up everyone says eki bento are so yummy and must try but mine was the most disgusting thing i had in japan and made me sick during my 14 hr flight following my shinkansen ride 🤮 skip that one
@AnMarEd_Wandering28 күн бұрын
@diddlybop Ohhh, sorry! Well, not everything is delicious and good for your stomach, like in any other cuisine. We haven't experienced like this kind of problem, but yeah, some of the things are strange for us, because we are not accustomed to texture and taste and your body can be sick. No eki bento for us then. 😅 Thank you for sharing. 😊
@diddlybop28 күн бұрын
@ yes the foods in it were things I like, shrimp tempura, oden, rolled omelette, salmon, fish cake, etc, but it gets cold and soggy. If you are at the station early in the morning maybe try a fresh one, or go for a very simple one that is just beef and rice to be safe. I went for the “special” one that was most expensive….it looked wonderful but unfortunately was not edible, too many different flavors, none of them done well, and clearly had been on the shelf for many hours. Which should be obvious…but they came so highly recommended that I decided to try anyway🤣
@AnMarEd_Wandering28 күн бұрын
@diddlybop Sometimes "special" is the problem 😂, especially for our stomach. It's a big train station Tokyo super turistic and fast-paced. In every place like that, usually you will experience that that quality is lower than you expect. But again, sorry for your bad experience.😔
@AnMarEd_Wandering28 күн бұрын
@diddlybop Our bad experiences were more like things like: sweet omelette or sweet meatballs. The sweet, pickled vegetables, but only because we were not accustomed to the taste. And we are over the sweet bean paste in every desert. ( Especially Ana) 😄

Do they have seats in 1st class?
@AnMarEd_Wandering29 күн бұрын
@Bigdreams-ob6cn They do have seats in 1st class, called Green Car. But we don't think that is such a big difference between 1st and 2nd class. It's spacious, super clean, and quiet in the 2nd class, too. But we guess it is up to everyone's comfort. 😊
@lindasiu496528 күн бұрын
@@AnMarEd_WanderingIf you can afford it, get the green class. We always travel on green class. The difference is more spacious reclining seats, carpet, footrest plus you can order drinks and snacks. We always get ice cream. I don’t know what they ate but I never had a bad ekiben. Out of my 13 trips to Japan, we used the Shinkansen 6 times. We usually go from Yokohama to Kobe, Hiroshima and Hakata and back. We skip Kyoto and Osaka because of overtourism.
@Bigdreams-ob6cn28 күн бұрын
@lindasiu4965, how much is the difference between 1st and 2nd class?
@lindasiu496528 күн бұрын
@ I think I could’ve saved $130-$150 if I went with the regular class. I bought the JR pass at our local JTB office. I turned the vouchers in at the East Travel Services in Yokohama and got my JR Pass. Then I went to Midori no Madogawa and got all the train tickets for our trip. This took a long time since I had 9 segments to book for 6 people. We had to finish all of our travel in one week because we bought the one week green class. The one week green class is ¥70,000. If you are not going to too many places, you don’t need the rail pass. Oh, on the green class, all seats are reserved.
@AnMarEd_Wandering28 күн бұрын
@lindasiu4965 Ohhh dear, what a journey you had, way too much to do for us, we try to avoid as much as possible extra struggle! 😂 We went for the simplest way and maybe a bit more affordable (comparing to London fares): Suica travel card that we've top up and it was a quite easy proccess, and we bought separately the tickets for the Shinkansen, for two journeys. 😊 For us, it worked perfectly this way.
@RunIfYou29 күн бұрын
Do you have any idea if the price is standard or can it vary?
@AnMarEd_Wandering29 күн бұрын
@RunIfYou The price we believe as far as we're checked should be fixed, but it will vary depending on: distance, season, if you buy reserved or not-reserved seats, if you buy them in advance etc.
