Great album. I probably go back and listen to this album more than any other Yes album. A stupid fact about this version of Yes: every member of the ban’s last name consists of one syllable- Squire, Howe, White, Horn, Downes.

Pink Floyd called it rubbish, I disagree vehemently. Obscured by Clouds, Ummagumma, Meddle. Anything past Syd and pre- DSOTM is incredible. A shame so many "fans" have no clue. Also Syd's solo work is beyond words. Stark, cryptic, sad, uplifting, unsettling. Whoopsie, said beyond words. 5 men who inspired, entertained me and countless others. Rick's Summer 68, outstanding. 1 of my favorite PF songs

If the band had a good rest, Roy Thomas Baker could have brought them into the 80s on a high note, but it was not meant to be. I didn’t buy Drama, until the 90s, I was focused on my career and life.

Thank you for putting this all together, this LP is one of their finest works, I saw a concert of this Tour at the Omni in Atlanta, Georgia. We stayed at the Omni Hotel on a top floor overlooking the enormous atrium, I brought along a Cassette early version of a boom box, and played Turn of the Century out on the interior balcony, it rang through the atrium. Suddenly, Anderson who was in a second floor suite, came out and started to play his harp, a lot of fans gathered around and we went down for a little Anderson mini harp solo. He played for about 15 minutes then went back into his room. This was in the afternoon before the Concert. After the Concert we we to the Hotel bar and found Wakeman, many fans were there, nobody bothered him, but he left and went down stairs and hailed a taxi, and off into the rainy night. As we caught an elevator back up to the bar, when the door opened there was Chris, who was polite and signed our ticket stubs. We left him alone as the elevator doors closed. A magical night. After seeing the Relayer Tour, the GFTO Tour with Wakeman was fantastic, I believe the band were in top form. Off to Bed, but at 10:am the next morning as we were getting ready to Checkout, Anderson was back on the balcony of his suite playing an acoustic guitar and singing a song I have never heard of or remember it. Then after a few minutes he was called in by someone, no doubt off to the next City. I was 19 years old and I still remember that visit to Atlanta, one thing we never did before a YES Concert was get high or drink, to much to be in the same place as the band, I wanted to remember it, and I didn’t want to miss anything running to the restroom. I do Remember Donavon being a great, perfect opening act. I liked Tormato, but I think the guys probably needed a long break, and then Alan broke his leg or foot during the Paris sessions and only the guys know what happened, as the 1970s came to an end. I was just listening to The YES Album yesterday and read on the back where it was recorded in the Autumn of 1970. Wow in 10 years time they had recorded the best Art Rock of all the bands coming out of England. I was lucky enough to meet Chris Squire several times away from the band, thru a good friend. May he, Alan and Peter all Rest In Peace.

Anni 70 anni precursori di modelli progressivi musicali che hanno lasciato il segno, negli anni a seguire poi un ispirazione ed evoluzione continua. I Genesis ne furono maestri di altissimo livello. 🤩🤗

An interesting film about one of my favourite Genesis albums. Nice one! Lord knows why you thought it was a good idea to marry isolated vocals from quite different songs over actual Genesis backings though!! I mean really?! The one with the John Bonham drum track might have worked with Phil's vocal, if you'd time-stretched them to align the different tempos.
