Any tips on the part that switches from snare to hat

Sadly I have no tricks necessarily, it’s just about practice. They are definitely quick notes, so it can be tough. But with a little practice the speed picks up naturally

I love the drums, it’s such a fun and easy instrument to learn how to play. My best friend who goes to the same high school as me plays the drums. He’s a senior sadly so sadly he’ll be leaving the high school we both go to this year which sucks and honestly hurts me so much because I’m really really close to him. Either next year im gonna play the drums or my senior year im gonna play the drums just to honor him and because I want to because I also just live the drums regardless.

Drums are easy to play (since tbh it is quite literally just hitting with sticks) but its definitely hard to master
@NTG.Trading Жыл бұрын
if you think drums are easy you're either a prodigy or you you think 16th note hi hat grooves are pro level
@Nafinafnaf Жыл бұрын
@@NTG.Trading ik you're not replying to me but here i go anyways. im 15, only play drums once a week in a music school near my area. I only started playing drums since around a year ago when i was 14, and since i only get to play once a week thats only about 52 days-ish (keep in mind that every session is 30 mins only, which only lessens the total time i've played the drums *AT ALL* so...) I'm not the greatest but i can hold a nice groove and know how to play in some odd time singatures too (mostly 5/4 since its my favourite) and some people are impressed at how i can be so good with so few time playing. My answer? idk, i just have a knack for rhythm i guess...! I know you're probably only replying to the original commenter but in my reply to that person, i said that drums are easy to _play,_ but hard to *master.* Playing doesn't necessarily playing GOOD, just playing. Anyone can hit a snare and step on a bass pedal, few can turn that into something nice sounding.

i may be mistaken but i think i hear chris adlers drums in the background over yours, next time don’t do that it’ll make your playing a lot cleaner, just search up backing tracks with no drums great cover and try using a metronome it’ll help
