Thank you for posting this the problem I'm having is that I'm getting a rub in the Armpit but only on the outside because I have two dogs so the harness apparently is getting pulled to one side a little and rubbing the armpit of the outside leg and I'm not sure how to correct that

your very limited where you can go with that conventional way of joring with the dogs out front on lines. here is a safer, more versatile way- freedom to gooo under excellet steering and dog control- the rider steers the dogs- no commands needed- the dogs ADD stability to the scooter- you don't crash with this design- on or off road- even on urban sidewalks and or single track highly used by hikers, trails- even good for dogs that are agro, deaf and or blind- d o g p o w e r e d s c o o t e r

I went to Nahak's websight, their dog measuring directions alone tell me that these people are very competent in their field of expertise. No other "on line" harness sellers have such through directions. Your english is very good, I understood all your words. And your figure is nice as well. Thank you for this solid information. 🚴🏼🚴🏼🚴🏼

OMG, sooo helpful. Thank you so much!!! Just getting into the sport and had no idea how to measure on my dog so it didn't chaff him and fit well. We've got the ground work going, he knows, whoa, leave it, gee, ha, let's go. We are ready to put it into action. Your videos are so informative!!!! Thanks again.

How will a dogs conformation influence this? Should for instance a sighthound with a more curved topline still have the harness end at the tail? And what about the X on top? This should not put pressure on the dog's back, right?
@TeamRunningHusky11 ай бұрын
This video is very generic and I don’t have any expertise in specific breeds and conformation. Some dogs won’t fit a Xback harness and need a different shape of harness, like a split chest harness or a H back harness, or some would fit better with a half harness. I would recommend reaching out to a harness manufacturer and asking them your question, they will be better suited to answer these questions and confirm if this should fit your dog. You can even send them a photo of your dog if that helps them answer your question about conformation.

Thank you, I’m glad to hear it helped! What do you mean with attaching the back to the lead?
@darrenpinard16582 жыл бұрын
@@TeamRunningHusky Sorry just the way you attach this harness to the leash. It came with a single rope with knots, if that enough to hold the dog? I noticed you may have reinforced it with another rope? Cheers
@TeamRunningHusky2 жыл бұрын
@@darrenpinard1658 no it’s just that some sizes come with just one rope, some come with 2 ropes. I think maybe the sizes-long like small-long, medium-long, large-long come with 2 ropes to differentiate them from the regular sizes (but I might be mistaken and it might be the opposite). But don’t worry, the one rope is fine. You just clip your bungee line to that rope. Always check your gear before going on a run obviously, if you see the knot is coming loose you should fix it before riding, but I’ve never had that problem with any of the harnesses we’ve had. Hope that answer your question!

How much does your dog weigh? Mine is 50 pounds and she will run as fast as the bike but I don’t let her pull too hard cuz she’s small 😅
@TeamRunningHusky3 жыл бұрын
Luna the black Husky in the video is only 37 lbs. She’s small but fast :) I do help her more than when we run Bolt who is 49 lbs. It also depends what the dog likes better. Bolt likes the pulling, so we let him pull without helping most of the time. Luna prefers speed, so I help her more by pedalling with her.

@@TeamRunningHusky I guess my dog isn’t as small as I thought. She pulls but I’m worried she will over do it because she’s very driven. It’s also pretty hot where I live and I’m constantly having to drench her in water 😅

The greyhound can give the Huskey a run for the money but if they gotta show up in the dead of winter, your gonna find your greyhound hiding in your car whining with thier tail tucked shivering while the husky is doing hill inclines in fresh snow and still pulling. The husky is a tough dog

Dude no matter how long and how good one trains them for bikesledd'n (K9bikeShreed'n) NEVER EVER take your eyes off the dogs or kick back and relax n shit because it only takes a split second for hazards. Dogs can literally go from a full blast sprint and stop on a dime, they can change direction on a dime too so if they see Mr. Squirel and your all complaciant and kicked back and say one of the Dogs Crossses in front of you and the lead geta jammed up in the bike it's not only a real bitch to un-fuck everything but your dog can wind up choked off or at the vets injured and that shit is lame and shitty.
