morning swelling in footh and under eyes/shortness of breath/ changing in hongerlevel/ loss of appetite/more or less urinating/severe itching/ feeling tired and low in energy/ trouble concentration/lower back pain

I have rare kidney disease called memberous and had 2 treatments of retaxon chemo in 2021 and did get better in 3 months and came back in 9-24 and had 2 more treatments of retaxon and had lots of swelling and nephrologist had me take Ladin 40ml and that did not help had me take 40 ml twice a day and had bad pain on upper goat of feet saw primary dr. Ordered blood work and my kidney function worse gfr 20 and createene number 205 and had me stop Lasix and number went to 36 gfr but a week later very high potassium level gfr 27 dr said my kidneys under stress. Nephalagest out sick and h not seen to see plan. Could my kidneys come back eventually

Speaking As mom as of a PD patient young daughter , and as of a 24/7 caretaker of a PD fresenius patient // my kid is 26 years old , she's been on PD home treatment for more than two years now, I can suggest that they will PUSH YOU INTO HEMO -DIALYSIS , AS Much AS They CAN ! EVEN AFTER PD BAG SURGERY! , DONT DO IT !! for years they will claim they PD is "Not Enough " and you have to do what they say ! Remember,YOU ARE THE PATEINT -THEY WORK FOR YOU !!!

Thanks for the video is helping me decide on whether or not to switch my mother and daughter from in clinic treatment to home so that they can get consistent care that they are not getting currently at there clinic. The turn around on the techs have caused issues with their fistula and their graft being damaged to the point their surgeon doesn't want certain techs touching them. I was the tech for both of them while they were on PD and both have secondary conditions the tech of the day forgets about that need to be considered during treatment. It seemed a bit overwhelming to think of having to stick them but if it helps them with better treatment and quality of life with less anxiety I will step up to the plate for them.
