What makes this scene so good is the complete reversal from Rocky 3. In 3, Rocky is afraid. In 4, Adrian is the one who is afraid. For the first time, Adrian is the one who is too afraid to support her husband - not because she didn't believe in him, but because if Drago could do that to Apollo, it's only logical that it's possible to do it to Rocky. The boxing didn't matter to her if she lost him in the end.

scary thing is drago won in a way, be basically retired rocky

When someone else comes Rocky wants to give up but that person who comes will encourage him to not give up and when there’s no one around he’ll keep fighting none stop That’s what makes Rocky special

Adrian was absolutely right. She just saw the futility in this venture. If he won, which he did, he still recieved brain damage, and lost his home and properties due to negligence during this trip. Even during his victory speech he admitted Adrian was right, people can change.
