Some people think that the solid white line in the middle of the road in some tunnels doesn’t have any legal meaning because it’s not mentioned in the Highway Code but it has the same meaning as double white lines where the line closest to you is solid, you can only cross the line to pass a stationary vehicle blocking the lane or to overtake a cyclist, horse or road maintenance vehicle travelling at 10mph or less, some tunnels have a sign just before you enter saying keep in lane which is what I’d do.

The shopping parade at 3.35, where you turn into Avery Hill Road used to be a cornfield. I can remember (1946) seeing a combine harvester working there. LCC estate moved in c.1950

the motorcyclist illegally crossed the solid white line, you can only legally overtake a solid white line in the middle of the road to enter adjoining premises or a side road, pass a stationary vehicle, overtake a cyclist, horse or road maintenance vehicle travelling at 10mph or less, as per Highway Code rule 129, I know this rule applies to double white lines when the line nearest to you is solid but it’s the same if there if only 1 solid white line in the middle of the road, also, just before you enter the tunnel there is a sign above both lane that says keep in lane, some people shouldn’t be on the roads.

0:10 you almost got caught stopping on a yellow box junction, if it was me I would have waited until the vehicles in front of me got out of the way first before making my move but I understand why you went forwards, if you hold back before the yellow box junction then vehicles from the side road will keep on coming through.

I grew up in Dartford in the 80s 90s so watching this I'm like that used to be X, they completely ripped out what used to be a multistory co op that's jarring having that whole building gone.

Went to Forest Hill from 1971 until 1976 great times lived at Sydenham hill estate brings back memories
