As someone who is autistic, I love this rewrite. It was really relatable and wholesome, that it nearly had me in tears. It felt like it was written from the original series, and I love it.

Deep shame at not doing what you're meant to do, even when it seems obvious, even when it's the easiest thing in the world and yet you just freeze, not doing _anything_ (even blinking, breathing). I can feel that, deep in my heart. The fear of not being able to explain what happened, when you don't even understand it yourself. And then having everyone pile onto you with exasperation at how you didn't do anything, were just 'lazy' or stupid, not moving or doign what you were supposed to. It... it really hurts. I can feel the fear and James is just on-screen, talking to someone else. But I can feel that, in my heart. This is a great representation and true to heart ❤

Like many people here I have high functioning autism myself Asperger's syndrome, or an Aspie as some of us call it hehehe. When I heard Edward say he had high functioning autism as well I think I have more respect for him now especially when he mentioned being overwhelmed which I can relate with. Yet I managed to curbstomp each label and destroy or remove each obstacle that most of society tried to put on me or tell me what someone like me couldn't do but I got through each obstacle and overcame each stigmatizism that life threw at me with spiritual help. So if you feel like giving up here's a quote from Disney's treasurer planet that helped me keep going "You got the makings of greatness in ya, but you gotta take the helm and chart your own course. Stick to it no matter the squalls. Then when the time comes you'll really get the chance to test the cut of your sails and show em what you're made of. Well I hope I'm there, catching some of the light coming off ya that day." Now I don't like all engines go like most fans but having both Bruno and Edward as autistic individuals on different levels which is a nice realistic touch and I love this a lot.

As someone on the spectrum, Bruno freezing up when the trucks started going fast gave me flashbacks to whenever I took timed tests in elementary school. ._.;

This is absolutely fantastic. While I don't watch the All Engines Go reboot, but after watching this for the first time, I almost felt a little teary-eyed at the end. I love the moment with Edward and Bruno and I love the use of Hummie Mann's Magic Railroad score in that. I'm on the autism spectrum myself and just like Bruno who I can definitely relate to, I felt I always needed extra guidance in life and I sometimes struggle with autism and with who I am. And what's the name of the music at 16:52 to 18:47? Because whatever that music is, it's so beautiful as I was moved by the music and nearly made me cry.
