Ne ho uno anche io! preso da pochi mesi ma usato quasi nulla perchè non ha il filtro CW, adesso ho trovato un filtro esterno Datong, non vedo l'ora di riceverlo per iniziare a giocare veramente con questo piccolo gioiello ! Ho fatto una manciata di QSO in fonia ma è per il CW che l'ho preso. Dietro il mio SS105 cè tutta una storia, è lo stesso che passa di mano nella mia zona da quando avevo 20 anni e non riuscivo mai a metterci le mani sopra :-) me ne ero innamorato da giovane.

Ciao, ho appena acquistato un rx come il tuo, ma la lampadina di aggancio pll non si illumina. Può essere guasta o è sintomi del pll che non funziona? 73. Stefano

Sarebbe stato meglio usare il rele come martelletto sulla "nuda carta" . Nel sistema che usi c'è troppa "inerzia" e il segno lasciato non è "netto". Cerchiamo il pelo nell'uovo ...... va bene ugualmente. bravo.

The industry was moving toward smaller receivers, and a shift to solid-state circuitry was underway. While the company's parts business remained successful (Hammarlund capacitors, for example, were still an industry standard), it was clearly time to rethink the receiver operation.

Hammarlund immediately began design work on two solid-state receivers. The HQ-215 (amateur band only coverage) and the HQ-225 (general coverage) were planned for release in the late 1960s. However, only the HQ-215 actually appeared on dealer shelves; the HQ-225 design was terminated early on for reasons unknown. The HQ-215 was finally released in 1967, to disappointing sales. Its performance was lackluster, and the radio had design flaws that were difficult to rectify. It was discontinued after a few years and Hammarlund withdrew from the receiver market. Only the HQ-180 series and the SP-600 remained in production, until 1973.

Stunning, the synch lamp is not on ( above the analog display - on the E311b here). It should.Outstanding receiver, in CW as well.One can hear overdrive/non-linearities effects though . Needs reducing HF gain then.Own experience & measurements. Nice demo. 73 de F3WT.
