Arete Reds and Coppers are more vibrant / pure based and have a wider selection of warmer tones. Violets in Arete are more vibrant and long lasting (due to them being anchored more by blue). Hi Stephanie! After some research, it does appear that Paul Mitchell The Color uses PPDs. This is the most common pigment irritant in hair color. Alchemic Color is PPD-free, so it's possible this could work for her! However, we always recommend a patch test, especially when there is a known allergy at hand.
