I can't believe I found this hell yeah. I was 11 yrs old when I saw them at Stone Pony and even then at 11 I had a feeling he wasn't going to be around soon.

Their most known for no rain like others have said, but they had so many more songs with amazing riffs, amazing solos that can literally take you to places if you let it. They were def psychedelic in nature, but also grunge. They had melody, hard riffs and amazing vocals in different ranges. They will in my eyes be up there with the greatest of the 90s, they were way ahead of their time, and won't be forgotten anytime soon.

I just watched All I Can Say....was so good I watched it twice. Shannon was staying strong despite a huge burn by Rolling Stone...giving them 1.5 stars on Soup. What a lame tragedy. I really hope that guy got his Karma for that one. Thank you Shannon for giving us your soul. We will always treasure it. <3

It's very apparent that nobody in that room, including the band, were aware they were in the presence of a once in a generation authentic rock star.

I went to Ozzy's "No More Tours" tour at the Pyramid in Memphis in 1992 and saw Layne throw his wheel chair off of the stage and started yelling at people to get off of their asses. He just hobbled around on stage for the rest of their set. Sepultura also played at that show, but I didn't care for them. AIC and Ozzy were awesome though. GREAT concert!

I'm in awe of how incredible the band sounds. Hoon is killing it, the band can start and stop on a dime. True True talent plus work ethic and yet one month later, he succumbs to his vices. Such a tragedy for music but mostly Nico blue. Turns out she's doing very well but sad she never got to know her dad. As a father of 2 little girls, it hits harder.

I was 16 when Ten came out. It was my voice. I lived and breathed Eddie Vedder. My brother was a freshman in college and one day he came home with the Mother Love Bone album. I was hooked immediately. Ive always attributed my readiness to receive them was due to the rhythm section being so similar to PJ and unbeknownst to me at that time it practically was the same. Soon after that Temple of The Dog is released and the soundtrack of my adolesence was in living color and it was mine. My generation and not the classic rock i was spoon fed since i was in middle school. Im a star dog champion whatever the hell that means. lol
