He took over a minute between shots. I was wondering was he getting a burger or something?

You also have to shorten your approach. Your break point in the back end arrives much earlier. If your approach is lessened...better odds of maintaining your mark more consistently.

I started doubles with the Storm Sync at 2000 grit and switched to the Motiv Primal Rage at about the fourth frame of the first game in singles. I wish that I had changed earlier as once I got lined up it was like a league shot. Gregg and Daylen both used the Uproar at some point with Gregg having success at the latter stages of singles.

And to the people criticizing this video.. STFU.. IF you know ANYTHING about bowling, then you know each house shoots differently and everyone plays patterns differently.. While there is an "excepted" way to play each shot, I have been successful playing shots outside the norm as well. ITs all about what works best for YOU and your team, not everyone else shooting on the pattern.. I have played Beijing 8 times at 5 different houses and everyone of them shot a little bit differently. The smallest environmental change can affect the lanes and pattern.

You also can't ignore the impact lane topography has on one's ball reaction
@CueBaLLonE110 жыл бұрын
In terms of equipment (again this is just my opinion and from my experience, everyone is different), I would use a solid, pin down ball that is not overly aggressive. Being that I am not rich, I was limited to a pin down hybrid ball (Storm Lights Out) and it worked fine. I tried my IQ Tour Fusion Pin Up just to see how it would react and played a similar line and I ended up shooting 7 pins instead of strike shots LOL. I had most success on this pattern with my Lights Out and Frantic (both pin down to give a more early and smooth roll).. Having anything to strong or snappy will make it much to hard to read your breakpoint and predict its hook. Good Luck.. Oh and I am a High Rev bowler that uses 2 Fingers.. I shoot about 15-16 MPH so not overly fast. I am RH as well.
@CueBaLLonE110 жыл бұрын
I would consider my self a higher rev bowler.. Altho my speed is not high. I find that the best way to play this pattern is hard and straight with the 3 board being your gutter. Anywhere outside of the 3 board and u have no chance of coming back. Because of the short oil pattern, pushing your ball down lane is important as well as giving a little angle.. I have seen so many people doing the same thing I see in this video(going jersey). I started off play about the 7-8 board and had my break point right around the 4 board. SO a little bit of angle. After my second game I kept my aim on the 4 board, but was out around the 12 board. I noticed the change quickly, but after everyone moved left, some further out then the 12 board, the oil was pushed back to the right, therefore I had to start moving back to the right. Tricky short pattern.

How hard does this guy throw it? It can be a little misleading because KZbin speeds it up by default, but it looked like he threw it 30... I mean I know like 2 people who can throw it over 30, so it's very rare, considering I work at a bowling center.

this is way different than how i was taught how to play a short pattern. My college coach has us play about 6 to 3 or around that area, that way when you move left you have a spot to bank off of. If you play where they are playing in the video for more than about 5 games, it will be a hot mess. This is NOT the way to play a short pattern...
@irishpogi11 жыл бұрын
I thought the 35 foot Kegel pattern was called 'Boardwalk?" I am not crazy about short sport patterns because I don't throw the ball hard.
