Another excellent video! I like your work and using a OSC camera. I will not be upgrading to a mono camera (I’m too old and don’t want to spend the $$!). One thought: you could boost the color in your stars (stars only image) by doing small boosts of saturation 3 or 4 times. I learned this from AstroJourneyUK.

Wow, very impressive! My methods are similar, but I really like how you use the Luminance as a mask and GHS (I haven’t used GHS yet). AstroUK (kzbin.info/www/bejne/h4TYoXhjnqqsfJIsi=6HEClKCuyLZ24bmE) uses similar methods, but you might want to check out his method for stretching your image. Interesting to learn that you still use the E Processing Suite. I’ll pass that on to a buddy of mine who really misses it (especially the EZsoftStretch). On a funny side note, I wasn’t paying close attention when you started you’re video & I though that you said: “bad A**” and not Bad Astro - which may actually be appropriate! Looking forward to other videos!

Loved this video! You patient and relaxed workflow make it easy to follow and understand. I was able to pick up some techniques that make me want to go back to some of my old images and give them a tweak. Hopefully, you’ll get into processing mono images in the future. Also, I would like to see your thoughts and instructions on using GHS. Keep up the great work, so glad I found your channel

Thank you for the kind words. I'm glad you found it helpful. I have purchased a mono set up and I do want to videos on those processes, but I am still learning that myself. When I get a repeatable workflow, I'll start doing those as well. I also have been thinking about a GHS video, but for me it is more of an accessory after using the Soft Stretch in the EZ Suite. Again, thanks for the encouragement.

That was really cool. What is approx. flight time with that? And what kind of distance can it go before the controller loses connection? It looked like he could have gone up into the clouds with it.
@BadAstro3 жыл бұрын
It has about a 10 minute flight time, and the radio range is in the neighborhood of one mile. Further than you can fly it and still be able to see it.

Real nice looking Jamie, this time of the year where I live we’re getting ready for the Indianapolis 500! When those P 51s have a red tail on them doesn’t that mean they were flown by the Tuskegee airmen? If I’m not mistaken they were called the red tails. If I am mistaken set me straight. Be safe good luck on your weekend round.
@BadAstro3 жыл бұрын
The Red tails were completely red, not striped. www.mustangsmustangs.com/p-51/survivors/serial/44-63865 more info can be found here if interested.

I hope you’re still in a great mood when the pain meds wear off! Been there the last 14 years of my life. With a spinal injury, and all I can offer to you is that doctors are not always correct. Not meaning that in a bad way. They told me I would be in a wheelchair the rest of my life. I told them I had a Harley Davison I was going to ride again! And I am walking not very good yet but I am on my own 2 feet. I will put you in my prayers that everything works out as good or better for you! 🙏🙏🙏🤙😎
