This is wonderful! Did you know that Kate Bush actually has a wonderful song called "Bertie" (about her young son) that she recorded in 2005 with viols and clavichord? A fretwork take on that piece would make my decade! Maybe even with a sensitive 17th century style soprano singing the vocal line?
