I have an app for self growth , and it recommended this book, I loved it. As I was a kid , in church they taught me to love myself first , so that I’m able to love somebody else , and it never made sense why as to know that Jay Shetty explains it in very simple terms

“The root cause of our suffering is our own thinking.” A great quote from the book. This is why mindfulness is awesome. This book goes great with the mindfulness workbook called 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels also.

I'm sure this is an important review of Pete Walker but the music diminishes its value to a traumatized person.

Mindfulness helps a lot with overthinking and anxiety. I used this book along with the amazon workbook 30 Days to Reduce Anxiety by Harper Daniels to learn mindfulness meditations.

thank you for posting. good work with the content, and voice was beautiful and clear. that music... I'm so emotional I can't even think straight right now. I'm not sure if it is good or bad. maybe good since I will definitely listen again later. I'm glad the video said crying is therapeutic because I'm a mess right now.

This sounded like the teachings of Christ. But the sole difference is Christ's love is infinite and eternal. And when we experience this transcending love then we begin to love others unconditionally ... even when the people around us are less lovable! We have to accept that not all are good. This is the radical teachings of Christ. Unfortunately in our society we want to eradicate God and Christ. We want humans to be self sufficient. Human self sufficiences still is a selfish, limited love, and this the kind of love that we want to be loved with ??

always, apparently only white people can be racist even though we have seen straight up proof of other races being openly racist, just saw 1 black guy say on CNN yesterday that the only answer is to exterminate all white people from this earth. That sounds super loving and inclusive and tolerant 😂 disgusting racist fucks
