A man died from eating cake. Your logic would now be "lol you still think cake is good?". Or for example surgeries. It saves lives. But someone died from a surgery. Your logic would now be "lol you still think surgeries are good?". Another one: Christianity stands for Love. However the crusades and WW2 happened and gay love is not accepted. Would you now say "lol you still think Christianity stands for love?". Another example: Charles Darwin introduced the Theory of Evolution. In which Natural selection is included which also states that Africans are genetically inferior. Is Evolution thery now bad or flat out wrong? I got you in a corner.
