Sew cute Taytum. I love the Rosa print too, I’ve made myself a shirred puff sleeve dress in that fabric and it’s one of my go to garments for spring. That Laura Ashley peplum is so lovely, I may have to add that pattern to my ever growing to-make list 😊

As a beginner sewer myself you are way ahead of me! The way you adjusted the bodice to better fit you worked out amazingly well; I liked the v in the back waistline even if that was a happy surprise 😁. I think that fabric is very pretty and the colour looks lovely on you. Well done!

Hello. Just found your channel and you have the best enthusiasm for sewing and homemaking. Your flower gardens are sooo pretty, where I live our hydrangeas are just beginning to bloom. I have quite a few bushes too. Everything here is beginning to get too dry and the yards are getting brown. Hopefully, tonight it may rain and there is nothing better than a big t storm. I have a tip for you and hopefully you’ll like it and won’t consider it as hurtful at all. You seem to know how to press as you sew but after you stitch a seam, press it flat( both sides together flat as you just sewed it) to set the stitches in and then open and press each side flat aka the opened seam. Then, turn right side and press it flat. Then finish each side of the seamline with your serger. Serge your edges last, then move on to the next seam but press each seam flat then open it up. Nancy Zieman always said set your stitches,,, which really does help. Look her up, her videos, they are still on you tube even tho she passed several yearsago due to cancer. Far too early, she was an amazing seamstress. She had started out very humble in her basement then progressed to her own store and did many tv shows too on PBS,,, she was from and filmed in Wisconsin PBS studios. . Ahhh, Aldi is such an amazing store and you never know what you are going to find!! And yes, I have been actually contemplating doing some peel and stick wallpaper but other than that, no other ideas yet! I too struggle with decorating bedroom walls, which is why we have nothing on ours! 😂

Your so good at explaining things! I l luv the dress and I'm falling in love with your cat. I luv your tea cup! I've been sewing for quite a while and I figured out a long time ago what slows you down is reading the instructions, if you memorize them you can pretty much get it down in 2 or 3 hours.
