Dude same here, I get so nervous when I have to show my final products I think a couple of times I’ve worn my AirPods and blasted music and looked down while my movie was playing. It’s very nerve racking!

Thank you, you've just inspired me to make my own short film longer than 4 minutes. Really love the in depth breakdowns on how you shot and edited this as well! Thanks for the inspiration!

A good white balance for skin tone is a challenge, especially when filming in log. Make test shots with custom settings and choose. Storyboard B-Roll and then shoot more as you notice things. Whitescreen-great tip. Fun challenge.

Try it on a different body before you call it but yes, the aperture mechanism on the 18 to 35 sometimes does that it’s not super difficult to fix, but it does require a disassembly of lens and shipment to sigma
@JanWilliamsBailey4 ай бұрын
I’ve heard that there was lens firmware with the sigma 18-35mm but never heard with any other sigma lens. I’ll keep that in mind when I’m looking at sigma lenses

You can't have a panzy Mandalorian. It takes years of training and devoted focus to the Creed. Nobody without full commitment, training, and honors would ever receive a helmet. And from then on they are seeking metal to build their armor stronger. Doesn't matter how they get it. Bounty hunter, sell sword, or assassination as long as they don't break the sacred vows or endanger the Creed. This was a purely poor slam to the name of Mandalorian

Never seen a video on focal lengths and faces until this one. Good video.
@reljapetrovicmusic5 ай бұрын
Focal length is not what is distorting your face on the wide angle, in your case it's barrel lens distortion. There are zero distortion wide lenses like laowa, viltrox etc.

If (while at 18mm) you had your aperture at f2 or lower, you would have got the same shallow depth of field. The lower the F Stop, the more blurry the background.

Not sure how your channel came across my feed, but I'm glad it did. This was a good video. A lot of vloggers recommend an 18-24mm lens, but I use a 50mm lens on an APSC camera, the Canon R50. I sit just a foot or so in front of my background and don't have a lot of space to shoot my videos. So, the 50mm, which comes out to be basically an 80mm on a 3/4 frame camera, is about 5 feet away from my face but it gives a good perspective. Great video. Good info.

After the butchered S3 this puts a smile on my face. A bunch of teens was able to capture the soul of Star Wars better than the Dissney hacks. Even with almost no budget and obvious mistakes like a male armorer wearing female chestplate and Boba´s helmet playing a role of just some helmet. The dialogues are great. The trials are hard for the boys.
