I was introduced to music of Leybach and other lesser known 19th century composers on old pianola rolls. Sadly my pianola is now out of order, so it is a great pleasure to listen to Ruben Micieli playing some of these old gems so beautifully. Thank you Ruben.

When I came across your lovely interpretation of the Leybach fantasia on the opera Norma by Bellini, I realised I had a musical friend. This Fantasia Brillante confirms that feeling. I look foarward to hearing more of your beautiful music.

I have a pianola roll of this marellous Fantasia which I cannot now play as my pianola is out of repair. It was a delight to hear it now on You tube with so much more expression than I was capable of demonstrating on my pianola. KZbin has been a great resource for resurecting quite a lot of old music which I used to play on the pianola in the old days. I turned 90 inJuly, and hearing this lovely music again brings great joy in my declining years..
