Mine sadly ended up in bin at about 45km. I never learn and got mini eggs which melted into an inedible mess…!

Yes, there’s three different sizes for the attaching to sunglasses, it’s a snug fit and I’ve had no problems with it coming loose so far!

Is this a 50 mile peak district ultra marathon? Is there a link to how to register for the 2021 race?

The full event is 100k. I did the first half. It’s well run by Action Challenge who have events all over the country. If you have a google for them they are easy to find. Good luck if you decide to do it!

yes, it’s very easy to follow the markings on any AC event. at night is the same, although a good head torch is required given you are walking along fields next to the Thames! they also have trekmasters who can walk with you at night if you’re on your own. really well run events!

@@jamstaa69 they really are great, well run events and you can’t beat the atmosphere. You get a route map which I’ve never bothered reading and I’ve never even had the need for the gpx route on my phone or watch! Prep and training can’t be under estimated, no matter what distance you do. Good luck!

KidUKnott I felt like I was on fire 😂 in all seriousness I definitely was starting to fee the first effects of heat exhaustion and was glad to finish at 25!

@@dhevans6 I'm surprised at that since you were going so strong. However, it was literally being in the oven that day as I remember. The 2nd toughest ultra challenge ever by dropouts. Well done and thanks for this lovely video. :)

That’s a lovely video. I didn’t take any photos of the weekend, so this has brought back the memories (although I have probably tried to block the memory of that hill coming out of Bath 🙂)
